Diabetes takes a lot of time,effort and attention but
so does being a mum,the tears,tantrums,feeds and nappy changes.
Can a diabetic mother ever enjoy or give their all to the little precious angels?

Its hard work but the rewards are far greater to see
my little daughter smile or laugh makes me forget that hypo.
The constant hospital visits and worry about my A1c is all worth it when the time came to hold my darling princess in my arms.
The battles with breastfeeding and blood levels are a past memory when I see how strong she is getting on a daily basis.

Diabetes does not have to stop us from living a happy life
We just have to deal with it when it pops its ugly head and enjoy all the other things that are on offer to us.
