I only saw Van in concert once, and we had nosebleed seats. The tickets sold out in 15 minutes. At your mention of a concert, I am suddenly very intent on finding the tshirt I bought that night - haven't a clue where it is. And, what would I do with it if I found it? T shirt season is definitely DONE in Minnesota.

Wasn't it just precious beyond words? Bob fumbling the lyrics, Van's combover coming loose - yet is was so very perfect, in a way I can't describe. Two old friends coming together and jamming, on a hilltop by the sea. It put a big blast of warmth in my heart on this cold Minnesota night..........

hey, Rick, just stopping by to tell you thanks for all you do for us here! I appreciate your help and how much you add to the content here. Enjoyed the Jackson Browne video from Kathy, I don't know that song, but it was beautiful even if I couldn't make out all the words....

Hey Rick. We got our new benefits info for 2010 and guess what - Express Scripts is the only prescription provider to choose from. Yipee! I am ready to step on someone's head.

Then I listened to this song and calmed down. Made me cry,, as usual. '74 is the year I was diagnosed.

Have a good weekend.

Hey There Rick: :)

Good to hear that you are still holding on there.

Ya, the Pred. can be a Royal pain as far as sending the blood sugars out of control. But at the right dosage and correct length of time it can get rid of a Bad flare usually. I thought your dose was a little too low actually. Sorry, it didn’t work for you Rick.

Yes, you mentioned the Cimzia before. I mentioned it to my Rheumy but I forgot what he said. :D Evidently my brain went on vacation at that time…without me. =) I believe his response was a negative.

Good luck in talking them into giving you the Cimzia by infusion. I think only the Orencia is delivered by infusion. I Reallly hope that it works for you. I’ve been on many sites and there are so many People in Bad pain with severe RA.

I had that kidney infection in September so I had to stop the Orencia since it spreads infection faster. It wasn’t working much for my RA anyways. I didn’t go back on it since I’m trying to decide whether to get the Flu shot or the H1N1 this week. I believe they said that we can’t take the biologics when we’ve had a vaccination within a certain time period. Are you getting either shot?? My Hubby is getting his H1N1 this week I think. Another Child here died from H1N1 the other day. 2 days of symptoms and he was gone. Poor Kid! Really scary.

We had 2 days of Nice sunny weather although cold but I see we get rain again today. Blah!! Makes RA hurt worse. :P I can''t wait to see the first snowflakes fall. I hope that your day is Sunny and you feel less pain Rick.
