I'm glad to hear from you. So lisa's got bragston-hicks contractions going on now.......Bless her heart! THAT HURTS!!! I will tell you the samething I told my husband (be ready to laugh here) You done this to her!!! Only louder and alot more personality! HA!! Tell her that we're all saying a prayer for her!
There is NO WAY having a baby dosen't hurt! I know you feel for her but she is going to turn into a really hard woman to get along with here in about 2 weeks! HA!! I told my hubby after a contraction to RUN AWAY FAST if he didn't want to hear what I had to say...Long story short he got exactly 2 steps away from the bed and I said exactly what I thought of him at the time! HA!! Pain has a way of doing that to me!! HA!! Enjoy tomorrow and talk to you when you get a chance.
I know you can't wait to see him! Lisa's going to have some "weird" feelings now..........She's so close. I only made it either time to 7 1/2 months but when Amber was carring Savannah sh came in here one morning about 2 AM and fussed because she couldn't lay down and get confortable then about 4 days later Savannah was here by c-section! You just gotta wait with the natural stuff til he decides to come...Me well like I said I only made it to 7 1/2 months then had a c-section myself, so I kinda knew when they would be here! HA!!
Your stuffing must really be great! It's OK for him to wait til Dec 2nd or the 6th. The first is my hubby's bday and the 6th is my grandfathers!!! If he waits til the 6th he will be one more human being!!!!
Amarie is doing great! She stayed over here with me and her "Pa" just about all summer along with her sis Savannah! Of course grandma pride flowing again! HA!
Are you kidding me? Patiemts is something I tend to run low on! HA!!! Good luck though! I'll try and wait for a few more weeks here! HA! You know I will! HA!!
Whoops one more thing....I don't blame you for cutting back on your travel just so you can be there for Lisa and that little boy comming!!!! You might decide to wait a little longer when he gets here!!!
Ugh NO FAIR!!!! My oldest is having a boy in January too!!! She's had his name picked out for 3 years or longer! Adian, gotta wait and see haw to spell it! She picked out that name before she knew what Amarie was and that's been the name through 2 pg's and now she knows for sure it's a boy so the name is staying! HA!!
you sure your not working at the pen? HA!! Just HAD to say that!!!! You will take time off for that baby....or atleast you better or you will get hell from me!!!!! Lisa will need you more than ever then probably now too!!!! By the way do you know yet if its a boy are girl? Also you guys got a name picked out yet????
Joe I remember you saying that you were in NC but I just wanted to know if I was near where you were.....Ok now next question how far are you in NC from Central NC.........My hubby LOVES to drive so we went to Central NC while on vacation! Today I think it all caught up with me! What a LOOOOONG day!!!!!! HA!!
Whoops you said Elkton sorry!! I really don't do good with the exits and stuff! HA! My hubby kept telling me at somewhere in our trip to look for the 104 exit should I say we passed it up and had to turn around?? I was way to busy singing a song along with the reido! HA!!!
Well I'm like you SOMEBODY has to fly on the airplanes JUST NOT ME! HA!!!!!! I guess I would try one ride but my hubby says NO!!!!! Me on the other hand well it's the boats I don't like! Do you know how many crusies I have won, the only part here is you would have to take a plane from Memphis to somewhere in Flordia then get on a boat and go to the Bahamas or down there somewhere! With my hubby objecting to the flying and um me objecting to the boat well let's just say that TN is really a pretty place! In other words it's a total objection here!!
You guys will get that baby here and all the work you've been doing will be worth the price!!! Tenfold!!! When you get done with your house do you want to start on mine? I will feed you and let you sleep on the couch! HA!!!
Have you guys had the baby??? I've been gone to East TN and havn't been around for the past few days and just wanted to make sure Lisa and you were doing OK. One more question Where do you go to work in VA? We rode about 50 miles into it and I thought of you as we crossed the VA State Line but couldn't for the life of me think of where you worked at! Sorry!!!!!
Oh Joe I know you can't wait for that little boy! Congrads dad!!!!!!! Around here its been a comedy of errors! HA!!! Everything that could go wrong has!!! I don't even want to go there! It's been that BAD!!!!
I'm gonna be grandma again in January. My oldest is going to have the 1st boy in my family in 3 generations! Not so happy that she;s only 21 and will have 3 kids under the age of 3 but oh well. I get another grandchild to play with! My hubby and I are leaving out tomorrow to East TN in the Smokies for a few quiet days! VERY MUCH NEEDED!!! HA! I'm 46 and had my granddaughters spend the WHOLE summer with us should I say more???? HA!!
Hey Joe!! Ok try again got to learn how to spell again! HA! What's up in your little piece of heaven????? I'M BACK!!!! Ready to go nuts with mew again? HA!!!
oh great i am going to be a granny again in Feb that will be 4 for me since my son just got married and she had 2 daughters so 2 boys and 2 girls i am happy heheh
LOL! You know that I’m kidding Ya Joe. Okay, except for the fact that I am a bit
envious(not mad)about your “constant” sneakiness. I’m just a little sneaky in
order to pull a surprise on someone, once in a “Blue Moon”.
You are certainly not the only Person who has felt Really tired and overwhelmed
about too much work. It happens to the Best of us. Even to non-Diabetics.
I used to feel the same way sometimes also when I was in my 20’s and 30’s and even a few times not too many years ago. I'd sometimes bit off more than I could chew and I
would just look around at the work, feel so tired, weak and overwhelmed, that I would just lie down and cry. Then I’d wake up a while later and get back at it.
Sometimes, I would check my sugar instead of lying down and sometimes found that my sugar was low. Then I’d have a juice and something to eat, and I’d feel Better. Sometimes a low would just make me feel Terrible and want to cry. Of course doing renos doesn’t compare work-wise.
I’m Happy that you got some sleep. You deserve some extra rest when you need it and Lisa too. Don’t feel Bad about that. The work can wait a while. Phil and I(and most every couple who own a home) have gone through or will go through the reno troubles. Blah!! :p Awww, memories.
HA! I have done the same thing Lisa has. Phil dumps his junk wherever he pleases(reno stuff during a reno I don’t touch). So I feel obligated of course, to move his junk to a more invisible spot so that I can’t see it. He gets a bit upset weeks later when he notices that his stuff has moved and asks me what I did with it. How did he know?? :D Then I’m searching through my “gray matter” trying to remember where in the house or garage I put put each of his precious things. Good workout for the brain. :D
I’m doing not too bad Thanks. My Rheumy gave me the Cortisone shots in my knees about a month ago. Between my screams, I believe I told him that he should supply a muzzle for his Patients during this type of torture. Anyways, it has kicked most of the Bad flare out of my system for a while, I hope.
You’re Welcome Joe. I couldn’t forget you and I do mean All the Best for you.
That’s so GREAT that you got your Son’s pics. Those are so Precious. You and Lisa are SO Lucky. I didn’t get those type of photos when I was El Prego. Oh Well, at least my Kids are alive, doing Well and able to annoy me at whateverchance they get. Just kidding! They are Great Kids(Adults)and doing okay, as yours will become. Can’t wait to see the photos of Little Joe. :D
That’s okay Hon. Geez Joe, take it easy eh? We can’t be expected to move the whole world in a month. Take a Good break when you feel you need it. I just told my Son the same thing the other day and he isn’t a Diabetic. Life is too needlessly hectic sometimes. You work hard, especially with all the driving. Take your time. Your renos will be accomplished better with you getting rest. Your Son won’t be aware that all the renos may not be done…he won’t care either. As long as he has his Mom and Dad to love, diaper and feed him. He’ll be HAPPY Joe!!
I always enjoy hearing from you too Joe. Don’t be concerned. I’m doing Good and I always have FUN, one way or the other. ;-)
