Hi Mark this is great for me reading everyones experiences on here and a comfort to know many people are living with this and managing this illness. I dont know about America but over here in UK people still very ignorant of this condition, even though it is greatly on the increase. Im sure most just think im an overprotective mum, going on again when i explain how serious this is when Harrys school refuse him snacks, got that one sorted now
Just wanted to say hello. Hope you are doing well. I am freezing in California! Need to win the lottery so I can have a beach house in Hawaii for the winters and a cabin in the mountains for the summers.....one can dream right? Have a good week and weekend. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving...get to be a little piggy ;)
Take care

Thank you for the links. I haven't had a lot of time to explore them, but at some point will.
I just love the way Bobby's voice sounds on this song - pure and unsullied
Hi Mark,
Just stopping in to say hello and hope you are doing well. So, do you have any good song suggestions for my playlist on my page? You have had some good ones in the past that I added.
Well, take care and hope that you have a wonderful weekend.
Oh good gravey - that stupid song has been stuck in my head all day!
I already have 4 pins and one plate in an ankle (blame the Minn ice) so yes I should stay away from the platform shoes. Also must be careful not to trip on the fringe of my macrame twine bag.
Hello! yes, a new toy...my Laptop. I am still trying to get the hang of it. I will be on the internet now 24/7...haha. Hope all is well with you. Beautiful morning here in Calif. I have my granddaughter Cali today and overnight. I will try and get some good pictures to post. Show her off, proud Gma! Hope that you have a good weekend. Try to stay out of trouble :)

Mark, about 8 years ago I had a hypo when it was 30 below zero and I was walking home. I remember taking off my mittens in the middle of the street and thinking about testing but I was too out of it to find my kit. I do not know how I got home, how I found the keys to unlock the security door of my condo building or my unit. I only remember coming around sitting at my kitchen table, with my coat still on and a big glob of maple syrup dripping down my front. I think I drank about 2 cups of it, because I was at 500 for a few hours after. Scary stuff.
Hello Mark!
Thanks for the message on my page. Always nice to hear from you. So, how have you been? Anything exciting going on in your life? I am doing well, very happy and keeping busy. Still job hunting. My BS's have been pretty good, had a hypo this am. But, feeling fine now :)
I am considering going on the Pump, probably the OmniPod. Maybe this coming year....still a bit scared.
Well, take care and I am off to finish cleaning my house.
