Thanks for thinking of me :) I am in Thunder Bay and on the planning committee holding a simialr event in Thunder Bay tonight with Shawn Shepard as our guest speaker. LOL, another funny thing was I just happened to be in Toronto this weekend when I got the friend request,LOL. Hope that your event goes well!
Greeting from a 92, senior who WALKS THE WALK and TALK THE TALK. I am a computer rookie,who has over 200 friends on the internet. As a seniorwho is going to WEAROUT not RUST OUT, and a ROLE MODEL to over 45.000 and mentor through the LIONS CLUBS excellent prevention and awareness diabetes program. A member since 1972, use their 45.000 clubs in 205 countries, to encourage those diabetics in areas with little knowledge to contact local LIONS CLUBS and tell them the AMIGO says, GET INVOLVED.We have started a website called, brdfoundation.com 905-238-3547. We are asking diabetics living in the GTA, who are interested in being members of an organization that is zeroing on diabetics, disabled etc, who fallt through the cracks. The BLUE ROSE DIABETES FOUNDATIONneeds a group to a special interest group tohighlight TORONTO as a mecca for insulin-users worldwide. AMIGO, clarence.haynes@sympatico.ca
I'm in Ottawa but we have no plans of being in the Toronto area at that time. Plus I was dxd. at age 3 but am well over 30 years old now. So I wouldn't even be allowed in.

Looking forward to the health and diabetes expo in Kitchener this weekend ( 3rd Annual Open Up! Health & Living Expo)....I'll be touching base with many as both my husband and I are volunteering!
Sounds fascinating, even though I'm WAY way older than the age group this event is geared at. Unfortunately, I've committed to another event on the same day....looking forward to seeing pics posted later!! Thank you for taking me into consideration....and thanks for the friend invitation.
