HAPPY ST.PATRICK.S DAY,Joanne and thank you for your very nice card. Things are much better. His BP normal. PT has him doing exercises. Nurse was supposed to be here at 2 but we are still waiting. I am rehearsing with Tom. He does the 2nd reading tomorrow at the 9AM Mass at the Cathedral. Tonight going to drive to Ormond Beach to Stonewood for dinner. He needs to see a surgeon about the adrenal gland growth and on March 22 the blocked artery. Then I hope they leave him alone. How are things with you? Are you able to eat? My friend,Mary Ellen, has lost 80 pounds. Weather here gorgeous. Thanks so much your your prayers. You take good care. HUGS,Reed

Hi there, How are you doing? Are you recovered from feeling sick. I was worried about you the last time you wrote. Gosh being sick to your stomach is so stressful. It sure didn't sound like much fun. Hope you are better now.
You will not believe this about my work, they are pushing like crazy. They got us all togeher and told us that our budget is "broken" for our whole county mental health system. Sheesh, it is the 3rd richest county in the whole US and they can't "afford" to take care of sick poor people! Hmmm, sounds like something is wrong with this picture.
Anyway after sitting through three hours of the upper level woes about the deficit we are in, we were all sent back to the trenches to solve the problem. Such drama. Anyway, I ended up staying at work until midnight last night. 15 hours, working on a special project. My partner got sick and I had to finish for a deadline.
I only got three hours sleep last night but feel pretty good today. It is so beautiful here, sunny and all the flowers are out and the trees are budding, so pretty. I hope that your tummy is all better. How is work going with you? Yesterday I sat in front of that computer so long that my feet blew up like balloons and they are still big today. Took my pills late and my insulin, so BG is high this morning. Maybe that has something to do with it. Take care, hope you have a good weekend.

Hi Joanne -thanks for the cute kitty pic. Hope your stomach is feeling better after the other day's illness. I had an aggrevating episode with my Ins. company . They sent me the wrong test strips for my meter. Then they sent me a new meter kit that I didn't want. It didn't have the same #'s as my own meter. I must have called them 6or7 times until I got the correct strips for my meter. Ins. cos. are just wonderful. Hope you have a great weekend. It is supposed to get warm again by Sunday. Cat

Hi Joanne, TGIF for me. I think I had one of the worse days ever yesterday. Working in social services is getting very rough now. Our county is running out of money and that means more and more work for everyone. Stress levels are so high and it is hard to keep up with these expectations. We purchased a new electronic health record and tech is still trying to get that in order.

Yesteday my team had an emergency meeting called at the last minute. We had to cancel everything and spend hours driving in the middle of the day there and back to hear more bad news about the budget. It was 88 here yesterday and between all the driving, the heat, and sitting at meetings and trying to catch up when I got back, well, nothing was working for me! My feet swelled up like balloons from sitting in the car and in the meeting for so long. It feels like I am working very hard, but not getting anything done. I will try to catch up today, but I think that everyone is overwhelmed with the circumstances. Can't wait until tommorrow. It is supposed to be sunny and 70 and should be a nice weekend.

I hope that you are feeling better. Getting stomach bugs or whatever it was is so miserable. I have heard so many people lately are getting the flu. One good friend that I have was sick and had a terrible time with BG. It is scary. I hope that your tummy is back to normal now and that you are feeling well again.

How is your family doing? I bet everyone is looking forward to the new baby! I love babies so much. There was the cutest one in the waiting room when I went to the doctor before work yesterday, so precious. Well, time to get ready to go. I am hoping for a productive day. Last night I was there til 800 and not home until 900. Still doesn't feel like I am getting anything done!

My son moved back home for now. I am so glad to have him around again. I never see him much because he is so busy. Have a nice day today. For me anyting will be better than yesterday, so I can't lose!

Dear Joanne. Thanks for your concern and advice. Teachers in MA did not work under Social Security so Russ does not have Medicare. He has Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, He pays $711.28 a month and the town of Wayland where he taught pays $711.28 a month. As he is well over 65 EVERYONE just assuumes he has Medicare,. The social worker spent over an hour finding a PT and a Home care Place. She found something called INTERIM SENIOR HEALTH CARE that will. Ever hear of them. Oh Boy did they give him more pills. I hope things are going well with you. Russ is glad to be home. HUGS,Reed

Hi Joanne, Ugh, I made it through another real winner of a week. It is amazing the things that I have to do to keep myself afloat in this job market today. I have about had it with technology I have learned so much new about it in the past month that my head is spinning, including what not to do! I am so happy that it is the weekend.
I am staying home and enjoying the beautiful weather we are having. I hope things went well for you at work this week? I just barely survived. I hope to catch up next week. There is a big pile waiting for me on Monday, ha, I am trying not to think about it.
What are you up to this weekend?

It was 72 yesterday, but back to the 50's today. Hope you have a nice weekend. Don't forget to change the clocks. Forward ! Cat

Hi Joanne, How did work go for you today? I like your new picture with your son. When you are both smiling you look a lot alike, both cute! I finally finished round one of my special projects and they were approved so now all I have to do is make it happen now. I will work for about two more months to get everything going and then I am taking a vactation! I am so tired every night when I get home.
I hope you are feeling okay and everything is going well. Good luck with the rest of the week. Here is how I feel most of the time, only instead of the water it is paper and computers! Ha, I cannot figure out if I am the horse or the dog!

Hello Joanne. Dr,Oz was tired so he stayed in bed. They cancelled Russ's Cat Scan. Insurance said NO. I imagine having 4 in a month raised a red flag. The urologist has to call the insurance company doctor to tell why it is urgent. Russ does not have MEDICARE. Teachers in MA do not work under social security. I hope this finds you feeling better. I know you are having company and that will lift your spirits. My BG 98 happy with that. I hope your day goes well and I know you will enjoy the weekend. Do not forget to change the date on your watches. Take good care. HUGS,Reed
