Evening Joanne ♥ Thanks for the lovely graphics ♥ How are you feeling? What a nice gift indeed....having your son sitting in the living room, waiting for you :)
Don't know about you....but winning tickets don't come to THIS address!
We went to the market this morning and it was SO cold...I could have gotten away with wearing mitts! My finger tips were blue...really!! We did most of our snooping and shopping at the indoor market...I don't know how the outdoor vendors dealt with the elements...perhaps a nip or two of the good stuff! Good deal on asparagus...had that for dinner tonight with ham and mashed potatoes. Some lovely blueberries for breakfast, and fresh sausages for tomorrow's brunch. The baby (Stephen...21 months) sampled this and that and took it all in....such a little snoop...as his mom was at that age....didn't miss a thing! Len took him out for a stroll before bed time...he had a bath (Stephen...not Len...ha ha ha!)...and will soon be down for the night on nice clean sheets and favourite blankie. Life is so easy when you're a toddler...you don't realize how good you had it 'till you're too old for it! Also went to the library to stock up on more Christian CDs in preparation for our RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) retreat on the 11th. The house our son and daughter-in-law were looking at was a disappointment....so the search is still on...same for Danielle! Looking forward to a nice relaxing evening later, with a good movie...Len and I will have to compromise...an action chic flick??;)
Many hugs, good night, and a Blessed Palm Sunday....linda ♥
Joanne - What a surprise for you to have Pete unexpectedly visit. Hope you have a great time with him. Is he just staying for the weekend ? Will he be back for Easter ? Unfortunately I don't have that luxury of my kids visiting for a weekend. I am really hoping we will be able to go to CA this summer. If my progress continues we will make plans to go in July. Have a terrific weekend w/Pete. Cat
Hi Joanne, How are you doing? I hope that you are enjoying your weekend.I heard that you were having some trouble with your ankle and I hope that it is not bothering you too much at work. What's been going on with you lately? Hope to catch up on your news. I am reading things here and there and it sounds like you are doing okay. How is your gardening and yardwork going? You have such a beautiful yard.
We are having cooler weather here now. I thought we were going to go straight into summmer and for a while there it was all the way up to 88. Today it was supposed to rain all day, but it is getting sunny now and looks like it might be a nice day.
I am kind of worn out, so I am going to relax most of the day. I might get outside with the camera and take some pictures, the trees are all flowering and that would be nice to get in the sun. Hope you are well. Take care!
Good Morning, Joanne. How are things today? i hope you are feekling much better. I could kill Russ. The PT comes he says I am not up to it today the guy leaves there goes $200 down the drain. Ryuss does not have MEDICARE. Reed's Diner closed...seems so funny.Tom called from Toronto and said it was 30 and spitting snow. He took no warm clothes. My BG 102, How is the bone spur? Hi there, How are you doing? Are you recovered from feeling sick. I was worried about you the last time you wrote. Gosh being sick to your stomach is so stressful. It sure didn't sound like much fun. Hope you are better now. You will not believe this about my work, they are pushing like crazy. They got us all togeher and told us that our budget is "broken" for our whole county mental health system. Sheesh, it is the 3rd richest county in the whole US and they can't "afford" to take care of sick poor people! Hmmm, sounds like something is wrong with this picture.
Anyway after sitting through three hours of the upper level woes about the deficit we are in, we were all sent back to the trenches to solve the problem. Such drama. Anyway, I ended up staying at work until midnight last night. 15 hours, working on a special project. My partner got sick and I had to finish for a deadline.
I only got three hours sleep last night but feel pretty good today. It is so beautiful here, sunny and all the flowers are out and the trees are budding, so pretty. I hope that your tummy is all better. How is work going with you? Yesterday I sat in front of that computer so long that my feet blew up like balloons and they are still big today. Took my pills late and my insulin, so BG is high this morning. Maybe that has something to do with it. Take care, hope you have a good weekend.
