"Just a reminder, or a heads up if you didn't know... TuD is having it's annual campaign during December. The goal is to raise $20,000 (or more!) by December 31. You can check the progress by the syringe at the top of the home page…"

Please take time to give a little for the future diabetics of the world and please give us a short testmonial about ur experaince here with TuD
Awesome!! I'm glad to hear you're ready to rock and roll! Plus, of course, the egomaniacal satisfaction of being correct!! I think that lot of people trudge around in shoes they've had for years, try to get going and are discouraged by the excruciating consequences.
Admittedly, I probably buy more shoes than I need but whatever! I was gonna get another pair but they were out of my size at 2 stores. There's a third. This AM, I was like "hmmm, I should call over there, maybe they've got the elusive Brooks PureCadence in an 11 1/2...in Black..." but I said "you geek just run" and ran and had the fastest 10K I'd ever run. At my age! LOL.
Would you consider helping by writing a short comment/testimonial about your experiences at TuD? The main message for the campaign this year is that no one with diabetes should ever feel alone. Messages from our community give
people a real-life, personal sense of how valuable TuDiabetes is to each of
us, how it's changed our lives, etc.
Hi Josephine! Definitely not working too hard here. Enjoying the fact that President Obama has been given four more years! Hope things are going well in Ireland and that we make it to 20,000 BBT!!
Hello Josephine, thanks for the friendship!! I'm sorry to hear about your kidney disease. It is good that it is mild at this time. I take blood pressure medication to help prevent kidney problems.
Please share this post here on TuDiabetes and on your Facebook and tag 20 close friends on it. We need your support to reach 20,000 entries for the Big Blue Test!
Please do Big Blue Test every day until November 14 (World Diabetes Day). For each entry, the Diabetes Hands Foundation (that's the nonprofit behind TuDiabetes) receives a $5 donation from Roche Diabetes Care, to help people with diabetes in need.
Hi, Josephine. Thanks for your comment about my photos. Yes, there are many beautiful places here. The photos with buffalo and elk are from the Yellowstone National Park, which is one of my most favorite places in the world. Closer to where I live now, the photo of fall trees overlooking a lake is Lake Vesuvius, Ohio, where we like to do trailer camping.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest where I love Mount Rainier and Puget Sound, though I don't have any photos of them of my own. I did "like" some of the Mountain for my Like Pages.
Your photos of Ireland are impressive, too! Cheers, Trudy
I just wanted to stop by to see if you've done your Big Blue Test Today. Dont' forget that every time you log a Big Blue Test $5 is donated to diabetes charities that are providing life-saving supplies and services.
Hello Ireland! 'Tis Friday, indeed!! I say yippeeeeee because the weekend is almost upon us and that means no work for two days. Thanks so much for the kind comment re the pic - it's a wonder what a few filters on the photo will do. :-)
