Congrats Rob. You certainly deserve the Transparency Award for helping our members to deal with Roche, when necessary. I still use my AccuChek Compact Plus and still find it to be very accurate when compared with other meters I have been given. I usually give away other meters when I get them. Thanks again for your help when members need it.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the welcome. I have had my Accu-chek Compact Plus for two years approx. and I have noted that I can not buy a calibrating solution for it. How oftern should I be replacing my unit?
HI Rob my daughter really loves using the accuchec aviva has tried others but has cone back to her original, I copy down her blood sugars for her DR,we go again in 3 weeks for a diary review Tammie
oh thanks Rob. every time I need to use it, I have to figure it out all over again. funny I was just thinking about you as I was reading the discussion on MM's customer service. don't want to bore everyone again with how amazing I feel you guys are.
somehow one of my meters is exactly one month off (showing today as "8-15") guess I better not download that one. wonder how I did that???
I was looking at the pictures on the TuD home page and when I saw the Combo(?) package show up it reminded me of something that I never expressed when I received my Spirit.
Could Roche please use a lot less packaging? At a minimum, it would save Roche a ton of money, plus it would be better for the planet.
I think you need to report to Roche that there is a problem with the new AccuCheck Compact plus meter (all black with the hour glass shape). This meter will lose the time and date settings for some undetermined reason. I used to thinl this problem only existed with my meters. However, the same problem occured with replacement meters. Now there is a new topic on Tudiabetes with reports of the same problem from other users. See:
Rob- I didn't see the friend invite when I sent the thanks to you. That was just for the offer of future help. I always love to have new friends. Thanks again !
Rob- Sorry I missed your B-day yesterday. I was very happy to receive a new Compact-Plus today, I had to call CS on Sunday 'cause a test strip was jammed in the meter and the drum wouldn't move. They sent me a new Plus and I am using it already. I sent back the malfunctioning meter as per the reps request. Very happy with the Company, thought I would let you know.

Thanks,
What is the difference in the 360 for around 50 and the other instant downloader that is around $100?
Thanks, Spicysmom

The Roche representatives who answer the service line infer that this is an uncommon issue. I am not so sure now. Please contact me off line.
