Hi All, many thanks for the warm welcome! I'll keep this introduction brief as I'm at work at the mo (shhh, don't tell anyone I'm on the net). I'l have a good look around the site a little later. I'm a relative newbie to forums, so forgive me if I'm a little unsteady to strat with! I'm a type 1 diabetic in the UK - I have been diabetic for 24 years now (damn, has it reallt been that long)? Currently on Novorapid and Lantus injections - 4 a day. As I said before, I've never really used forums, especially regarding my diabetes, so I'm looking forward to all the shared experiences that everyone has. Personally, I like snowboarding, mountain biking, Tae Jwon Do and Kayaking, so I'm interested to find out how other 'active' members control their BG whilst doing physical activities. Gotta go - the boss is coming! Catch you guys soon. Ian
