Hi Mr Gator, I think you are back from your trip. Thank you for the big Christmas card, It is the biggest one I got so far. That was nice.

We have 15 inches of fresh snow. I had to use the snow rake on the roof to open up a roof vent because of the snow. We got hit with full winter, My muscles are a little sore from shoveling. BG good 89 on wakeup.,

Hope your new stove working good. Pauly

Reed....thanks for posting on my page and still giving me a heads up. I may visit infrequently...but it sure is not intentional. Did not go to the staff dinner and dance after the parent/teacher interviews, as my bg was out of whack! It started with the lunch that was delayed til 1 pm...I was dipping low, so had a snack....then I shot up after lunch...and was going down to low by 4. I knew we wouldn't be eating dinner til 7, and did not want to risk another low. But I always get the sense that no one believes me. Monday came and went and not one person bothered asking why I missed the party...or if I had been ill. Makes you wonder. Sorry to hear about poor Russ. What did the surgeon have to say??
Have you tried out your new stove?? The CWL pot luck dinner is tomorrow evening (no mistakes about the date this time lol), on Wednesday an RCIC class....wonder if they did the homework I gave them last Wednesday?!! This Friday...our School Concert, held at one of the universities. Rehearsal in the afternoon...performance in the evening....a long and tiring night. Some are going to a pub later...not me!! I'm going home! On Saturday and Sunday we're looking after Mason and his brother Riley!!
Can HARDLY WAIT till the Holidays!! Have done my Christmas letters or even cracked open my Christmas card boxes yet!!!
Anyhow....thought I'd send you one of my favourites...Andrea Bocelli!!
Good night dear Reed! Baskets of hugs....linda.

Marie, we were lucky that my Mother wasn't there when we cleaned out her house. Me and my sister-in-law met at her house (we were both from out of state) and we threw out a whole lot, and took a lot to Goodwill. My mother would have freaked out at what we did with her stuff. My sister-in-law had a moving company come and she took what she could fit in her house of my mothers furniture and belongings, and we pack her china and dining room furniture up to be taken to WV to my neices house. My mother was happy to see my neice have her diningroom furniture, china cabinette, and china and all in her house when she visited. The humongous bags of good stuff my mother saved, but none of us wanted, went to the curb. My mother would have screamed and cried if she knew. It was just me and my sister-in-law doing it all. Nancy took what clothes my mother could wear, the rest I took to Goodwill. After that I kept going back there to clean more stuff out and clean the house because my brother put it up for sale for my Mom. Was a lot of trips from NJ to MD and back. You will get through this, its a terrible time I know, but you will survive. Makes a person think about cleaning out stuff all the time so our children have less to deal with.

hi Reed, thanks to you and all my friends here, I came just one iota short of a nervous breakdown, we went through a lot of stuff yesterday, but it is so difficult, "do you want this" should we throw this out, or put it in the thrift shop pile. actually they have a thrift shop right there at Goodwin House. so they can come up to her apt and get the boxes. I don't think we will be able to go through all the clothes this time. my sister is only 2 and a half hours away so she will come twice more at least, and I'll come once. it's a six hour drive for me. I can't even tell you all the trash we've had to wade thru. my mother seems to have never thrown anything out and she had food all over the place too. she's constantly criticisibng my sister's eating habits and complaining about everyone and everything. thank God for Ed, he can maintain a light and sunny disposition for the most part, although he now has my cold, which I've had for a solid month. I'm soo soo tired. it's raining here. bg 130, going to change out before going over there in afew min. love hugs, glad you have Tom too, hope Russ is getting better every day.

Hi Mr Gator, I went to Church this morning and prayed a funeral Rosary for a man in the parish who died with the Holy Name Society. Then I went to the Adoration Chapel and prayed for you and Russ and others here at TU.

I am sorry to hear Russ is in a tough patch right now. I will keep praying.

Hi Russ- Glad you got your new stove. It sounds beautiful. Sorry Russ is having such a bad time with his surgery. My father-in law used to need cancer surgery like that almost yearly on his face and ears. Jim's dose of coumadin has been raised to 14mg. It seems he has a genetic mutation that doesn't allow him to use the coumadin properly and he needs a larger dose than usual. I am not used to him having medical problems. I am usually the one that has them. It is rainy and chilly today, don't think we will see the sun. Hope you have a nice weekend. I will say a special prayer for Russ at sabbath services tonight. Take care. Cat

Hi Mr Gator, sorry to hear about Russ but that sounded like they had to do a lot so recovery will go slower. It is 42 degrees here and a nice day.

I went shopping and worked on some Cemetery paperwork. We just had a burial last week. She was only 52 and I sent the grave deed to her husband. I will be praying for him too.

Thinkig of you, Pauly

Hi, I am doing a Reed and Russ check this morning. I hope Russ is doing okay, that the swelling goes down some today, and that he is not in a lot of pain. Did they give him a lot of medication? I sure hope he feels better.
How was TOPs yesterday?
I am going to work really early today because I have to leave for a doctor's appointment at two. I am going to the neurologist for a nerve conduction test on my hands to check whether I have carpal tunnel or neuropathy. I wish I wasn't going. I have a pile of papers to go through that is getting bigger by the moment. I got it down to a dull roar until the afternoon when a bunch of people came and threw more paper at me! I am glad tomorrow is Friday.
I am so silly. I am not used to sitting for 8 hours yet and get sore. I did yoga to stretch out the day before yesterday/ I pulled a muscle in my back. It is in a giant spasm this morning. I stopped at the drugstore and bought a huge heating pad and took it to work.
Everyone was wondering why the window was wide open and my room was freezing, yet I was sweating! They can only see me from the waist up the way my desk is set up, so it was my secret. Today I hope to make a big dent in that paperwork.
I know you volunteered in a neurologist's office. I don't have any idea what a nerve conduction test is, but I think it has something to do with some needles and electricity. I should have asked you earlier so I knew what to expect. I hope he will have mercy on me and prescribe me a couple of pills of Flexeril muscle relaxer for this back thing. Sometimes they won't, and make you go again to the regular doctor for another appointment.
It finally got colder yesterday. It was 70 for a few days and everyone was wearing shorts and sandals. Today it is 30 and just about the first time I will be wearing a coat this winter. It is hard to believe it is almost Christmas!
I got a few presents bought yesterday on the fly. My boss has just gotten out of the hospital from getting a hip replacement. This is her second one. She is diabetic too. She got it last year, Type 2, and is still in the candy bar and McDonald's eating stage no matter what I tell her. They put her on insulin when she was in the hospital for the surgery to keep things in control.
Well, I hope you guys have a good day. Sending healing thoughts to Russ and I am so happy your knees feel better. We will get the tree up this weekend. Then we have to decorate it! Lots.
