haha we just had a loin of pork yesterday, did it in the slow cooker. also made braised red cabbage, a fav of ed's. I didn't have much, such a stressful day and my bgs were not happy. had a very tense phone call with the social worker where my mom lives. of course they are chomping at the bit to get us out of her apartment. i told her look, I'm 6 hours away, we have Christmas next week, nothing more is getting done until after Jan1. it's going to be a very rough time. she said we absolutely have to be out by Jan 31st. I'm going to see my sister Sat (they're coming up to their place in the poconos, 1 hour from here) so we will make some more plans then. I'm so depressed Reed. Please check in the Care Team Group, I've been posting updates as I get them from Kathy. Please make sure you are FOLLOWING CT so you get an email when someone comments (look just under the comment box to see if you are following). Ed is really got the bronchitis I have had for 6 weeks now. We have zero Christmas decorations. just cards. I'm going to make some cranberry breads today, I want to take a nice basket of goodies to my sister, her 2 sons will be there, and daughter in law and the 2 little girls. bg 154 and that was after 2 middle of the night corrections.

Thursday is the last day at school....praise God!
I have had a headache for the past 3 days!!
Timothy (my baby!) is recuperating. He has undergone the surgical procedure today (Wed.) to repair the puncture in his lung made by the tubing used to re-inflate it following the pneumothorax of October 10th. He should be in the hospital for another day or 2. Pray that he resists the urge of smoking (and that his wife Steph. (who is pregnant by the way) also considers cessation!).

hello Reed glad to hear you are getting better! we all have colds here, James gets them the worst - he was even in the ER due to asthma. we are all getting better now though and it looks like "just in time". we only got a little snow, then 3 weeks of below freezing and now mild with cold rain every day for 2 weeks. I'll take dreary over freezing any day - the gas bill is lower! cheers!

Hi Mr Gator. I just got done with the bulk of my Christmas shopping today. I am working on my confession todaay for the penance service this week with the Priest. I plan on going to Adoration and offer prayers for Kathy too as she needs them. Weather is dreary and damp. My bones ache. BG was 82 on wakeup. Take good care.

Hi Reed- I was sorry to hear about Kathy being in the hospital. Hopefully she will be out of there soon. I am OK and Jim's INR was up to 3.7 this week. The doc cut back the coumadin. It is a nasty and dreary day here. I think I'll take a nap. Have a good week. Cat

Thanks--I didn't even notice being featured, so if it weren't for you and Linda it would have passed me by.

Hi Mr Gator. Good for you on getting all your Christmas stuff up. Living alone I am not the best at putting up a Christmas tree. I guess I should.

Yes I hope Kathy is ok. Weather is raining at the moment. I think I will go to Mass today. Last night I went to a Catholic Mens group where we had a priest lead us in adoration. Good supper afterwards too. Wake up was 95 this morning. Take good care

Gator! a little bird gave me the idea to reach out to one of Kathy's friends here, who lives in Minneapolis and is seen in many pictures here at meetups they've had in Minneapolis (ScottJ). so he is going to call her this weekend. I'm typing this all to you, becuase we all know to check Reed's page if we need the latest news. I will let you know as soon as I hear anything.

Isn't it wonderful we are so close to our fundraising goal already. You won't have to get out your stick and prod. haha. Please join the Type 2 Teen group, you can be the mascot
