hi vickie, how are you doing today? I notice you have a very nice a1c. I see you are wanting to figure out how to put the music on your page. I think I know where to find the info, and I'll send it to you.
I can't figure out music either!! But I do go to "MyHotComments.com" to look through graphics of all types to send. Once you go there, it's easy to select, copy, and return to TUD, etc. etc.
Gotta go enter a bunch of Coke codes to see if I win something or just build up points.
I love her! She's treiffic!!! No matter what she has going on she has time for you too! I think you and God we're right to find this place! We all try to help out but sometimes it takes one going threw it to talk to!
Hey Vickie, i see Marie hooked you up with Lois! A great preson there! I thought about her as I read what you had going on but didn't want to say anything just in case she couldn't get back! Looks like you guys have been talking to each other and I told her a long time ago I thought she was cool! Isn't she just the geatest!!!
I was just thinking freely right now and a thought just popped; into my head. Isn't that amazing???!! Well, I wanted to caution you about a silly thing. Beware of thinking you still have a limb there! I've often caught myself just short of trying to put my foot down! Guess what? Nothing there!! Dumb head!!! Or just try to kick a door open or closed; or a drawer that won't close because you are kicking with nothing! I know it sounds silly, but it not only could lead to bad habits but also to injury!!
hi Vickie, just know that we are praying for you and crying too. What happens to one of us happens to all of us. I'm so glad Lois left you a note. We are here for you when you need it. If you want to rant, cry, whatever, we are not in the business here of blaming, we are in the business of helping, supporting, and loving. I'm so glad you found us! Please keep us updated with your condition, and feel free to express your feelings, whatever they may be. hugs!
Sorry I haven't answered right away. I can't access a computer from my room and have to go upstairs when I am extremely tired. My name is Lois. I had my left foot and a portion of the leg amputated on Feb. 3. I am doing OK but have to be in a rehab facility because I can't get into my bathroom!! I am OK physically but still have to take painkillers about every 8 hours (down from every 4 hrs.).
I still cry once in a while but I am told by outside sources that I am in extremely high spirits and have been uplifting to others. How? I DON'T RIGHTLY KNOW!! I do have those moments when I have to cry and I am not sure why. Just that I feel like crying
From what you describe, I would think that there are no two ways about it. If that plate is causing problems and there is no way around it, you have to get it amputated. Go by what the DRs are telling you.....they seldom outright lie!
I wish you all the luck and health. I wish you you very few "days" when things go wrong. AND DO WHAT THE THERAPISTS TELL YOU TO DO!!!!
One other thing: Do what your heart tells you to do.
Love and peaceful sleep. You can find that by hooking into a local amputee support group.
Vickie,
Just saw your statues I am sorry that your crying and hope that you are ok.
Please talk to us we are all here for you and with you everytime you need us even though we cant be with you in person we can be with you in spirit and prayers.
Do drop me a message.
