Good Morning,Anna. How are things with you this morning? I hope you are doing well. I was a classic insomniac there for a while so when people ask if I am sleeping that is what that is all about. I slept well last night,My BG readings very good and I am feeling better than I deserve. I saw the orthopedic surgeon yesterday and because of my age I refused knee replacements,he wants to try 5 injections 1 a week. As I recall,about 4 years ago I had 5 injections in my back and it worked I have not had a pain since. Tomorrow is TOPS. I do the Program, AGAIN, what can I tell them that they have not all ready heard. There is no magic bullet..Hard work. MOVE MORE AND EAT LESS. You A1C number very good..keep it up. Take good care. Hi Anna- Thanks for the friend add. You will get a lot of info on LADA on this site. It seems that many LADA people were misdiagnosed originally. I am a T-1 for the past 12 years, which is like LADA. If I can help you with any questions just stop by my page.

You might want to join our LADA Group, I sent you the link. Also, there is a very explanatory blog that was featured a few days ago. I think a fair amount of LADAs identify as type1s, maybe it makes things easier when explaining to others. I'm so glad you're feeling right at home here.

hi Anna, just saw your reply on the misdiagnosis discussion. WOW. glad you're doing good now. I guess you know our founder Manny Hernandez is LADA. We have an awareness week for it here that we publicize heavily on Twitter every year, I think in the fall.
