No problem! At about 32 weeks, you're still quite far from the due date, so it seems like c-section discussion may be a bit premature, no? Since my little guy always seemed to be at around the 40th-50th percentile on ultrasounds I didn't need to deal with c-section or induction pressure due to size. However, there were plenty of other reasons why doctors wanted me to "prepare myself" for those possibilities. I guess I approached those discussions with an honest, respectful tone, while also maintaining confidence in my own desires. I hope for the very best for you and your baby! Feel free to message if you'd like!
Hi Angela, I'm glad that my birth story was inspiring for you! I really wanted to share with the community here because I was hearing so much of the same story while I was pregnant (induced at 38 weeks... horrific pitocin pain... emergency c-section) that I wanted others to know that there is another way. Type 1 diabetes does not necessarily mean that you will need a "highly managed" birth. Best of luck to you in the final months of your pregnancy!!
Angela! How are you doing?! I hope all is well! I haven't been on TuD in SO long that I just noticed that you wrote on my wall back in March!!! Too long of a break from TuD! I've just been super crazy busy with my 3 kiddos, dogs, horses and a brand new kitten! :-) I hope you're well!!!
Hi Angela! Thanks for dropping me a line. I hope you are doing well! Do you get your diabetes care at Joslin? My little one is doing great, getting nice and chunky. Happy belated Bday!
Greetings, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Angela.....
Best Wishes on your Special Day....and on the next 364 days!
How's it all going? Do you have any questions or comments?
Hi Honey, I am doing well. Summer is finally here....yea! I have been having crazy BS's due to stress, it is getting better :) How are you? Hope all is well. Thanks for the message. Take care. xo
Hi Angie! how you been? I hear Massachusetts has had some rough weather, one of my best friends lives in Boston out there and thats what hes said. Hopefully you haven't been buried in too much snow.
She is kicking around so much these past two days. I can't believe it. :)
We don't have internet at our new house (we moved in a little over a week ago) but should be getting internet on thursday. So I'll be able to log into Facebook then. Just saying hi!
Hi Angela - I am so sorry for the delay, I haven't been on here in forever!! I actually live closer to Schenectady then Albany, next time you are in the area maybe we could meet! I would be happy to answer any questions you have about pregnancy. I was so fortunate to have a very easy one with no issues at all and now I have a beautiful healthy daughter. I am on facebook way more so ifyou want to contact me that way, that would be fine. Hope all is well and to hear from you soon.
