Hi Ken, Thanks for the information on the reunion dates. May is a lovely month for Boston. I am looking forward to finding out more about what the program will be for us. I live 25 miles from Joslin now, but I guess that wouldn't qualify me for a hotel stay!! You mentioned that you took the Boston public transportation system around the area. I used it instead of a car until after grad school. I know alot of Boston trivia and can tell you where the "Charley Card," which is your ticket, got it's name.(Not telling now) Have a good weekend. Stephanie

Hi Ken, very happy to hear back from you. I was entertaining some old acquaintances and friends from USA who came here to Hyderabad, India. I am doing good and hope the same from you. I am sticking to my walking routine mostly and have maintained the same weight. Regards, Sai.
Hi Ken, it started raining here in India. A couple of days of showers and sssshhhh - muddy roads, traffic jams, vehicles, people and everything else in knee deep water - if you live in low lying areas. How are you doing and how is it up there in the North? Rgds, Sai.
Thx for the friend add! I need to update my diabio as it's about 3 years old and I've done a bunch of stuff, mostly running, since then?
I am sort of comfy in the 5.3-5.6 range A1Cwise. Sometimes, I would sort of like it to be better, and I've hit those numbers but, whenever I do that, it seems as if I've been "burning it" by running low more than I want? I am totally a "werewolf" foodwise, and probably eat (and drink...) 1/2 of my calories after 5:00 PM which, I think, is exactly what you aren't supposed to do? I hit lots of nuts and avocados too though and agree they are tasty and easy to "process"
Hi Ken. Congratulations on the Joslin study would love to know how that went and what they do. Will be in Portland for fathers day as my wife is from there and most of her family still lives there. Then on to Tolavana for the rest of the week. Might be fun to meet but Portland is way harder to find folks than Othello. Let me know if there is a chance. Michael
Hi Ken, Thanks very much for the response. My D is under control mostly and I am keeping up with my walking routine daily. About the LTE rollout, I am not sure how you are trying to reduce the interference, but I will look it up. You must be operating mostly in the FDD-LTE frequencies. Here, operators in India are going to implement TDD-LTE. Also, the guys at Nextel seem to be doing pretty well with their implementation as far as 3G goes.
I hope you like the pictures of fruits I put up. Here, lentils are a daily must have. I will try the chickpeas as you have mentioned. Never tried to eat it grounded, only used it as seasoning with Biryani (long-grained rice specialty) to add color :)
Also, I will try and buy an Anroid phone, thanks for the advice, cheers!
Thanks for the feed back. I am guilty of not keeping up on this site my hats is off to you. I am a self employed auto mechanic and am doing well. Met a Dr at the Spokane eye clinic a few years back Jason Jones by name. Did a vitrectomy on my right eye. 20/20 a week later that is the only problem to date. Left eye doesn't look like it belongs to a diabetic.Had to chuckel at the picture of the clinetest pak. Ran on to mine when cleaning the den. I hope you saw more blues than me. Mostly orange but have outlived all of my early doctors. Would love to visit if you find time. Preferred Trans in the phone book or 509-989-2623 ifyou want to get me any time. Take care. Michael
Hi Clinitest. Was looking at this site and found the NW part. You asked about Spokane and no I don't live there but as You go from Portland to Spokane you go through 3 Cities and I live 45 minutes north of there. We have a few things in common I am 56 started in 1961 or so my brother tells me and we have seen many of the same developements. Did you ever try to sharpen those needles? It didn't work well. Michael, in Othello
Hi Ken, how are you doing? Here in Hyd, India, it is getting very hot and humid. How is it up there? Today, RIM (Research In Motion) came out with a new BlackBerry phone, but, they still haven't come out with BBM OS 10. Do you think that release is going to give RIM their lost ground (to Apple iOS and Android). How is 4G/LTE deployment going on? Do you think its good to wait for new BlackBerry OS or buy an Android or iPhone OS? Thanks, Sai.
Hi Ken, good to hear back from you. Thanks for the info regarding telecomms, IT and other jobs in general. Happy holidays to you - Merry Christmas. Regards, Sai.
Hi Ken, hope you are doing good. The markets in India are not doing great, how are jobs in wireless, telecom sector in US? What's the outlook for 2012 for the IT sector, any insights?
