Hi Emmy, wow, what a nice page, this is quite awesome. Read about your bummer experience at school on chat. Really that is so horrible to go through, I think we have all been there at your age, but in our own special way and when it is happening, it is really tough. I hope that you can think about something else this weekend, as impossible as that may seem. Don't know where you live or what you enjoy doing, but maybe you like Halloween I don't know, but I am going to carve pumpkin for fun this weekend and walk around this afternoon and check out Halloween stuff that other people put up around the neighborhood. I have a black cat that becomes good decoration for this time of year. Hope you have a good diabetes day. I was tripped in hall, hair pulled all that good stuff, feels like nightmare so I am feeling for you. Now I am older still look back and it is sad but doesn't cause pain anymore. Talk to your friends here, we all care for you Emmy, Lots.
I just wanted to stop by to see if you've done your Big Blue Test Today. Dont' forget that every time you log a Big Blue Test $5 is donated to diabetes charities that are providing life-saving supplies and services.
Hello! Thank you for having me as a friend Emmy! New Brunswick...far away, but it's all relative, compared to other members on Tu...and the fact that you're in Canada, makes it seem closer! That's one of the appealing factors of tu.diabetes. As you know, I'm in southwestern Ontario...a city named Kitchener-Waterloo (2 cities joined together). I'm a wife of 33 years (hubby is also diabetic), mom to two grown children (one 28, the other 26), a grandma to 3 lovable little boys, a teacher, and before that an illustrator (still do some) and graphic designer....I speak French fluently, I read, history fascinates me, I paint, sing, walk, garden, ski, ride my bike....did I mention "read"? I love having friends over, I bake/cook, am an eclectic music lover, an animal lover...the ocean...ah the ocean...it speaks to me! Oh...and I have diabetes (and a few other things). Nice to have you as a friend, though for some reason, I thought we already were!!! Tell me a bit more about yourself!
Keep in touch, ok? Don't you love Tu.diabetes? There are all these moms floating around :)
