Hi Sharon- Sorry I haven't checked in for a while. I have had some medical problems of my own. But, enough about me. I am glad that Jon is home again. I know he is too. Nothing like men in the hospital, a nightmare to say the least. I hope he stays away from there for a long while. How is Alex doing ? Has he adjusted to school? Women take the pressure of the whole family when things are amiss. Stay well and give my best to Jon. Cat

Hello Sharon. How is Jon? I am worried about him. Sorry he had to cancel D. If he does not get any better make sure he sees the doctor. I have a sinus attack affecting my right eye. It is driving me crazy. Did Alex ever meet with his friend? I hope your next appointment at school you get some answers. Tell Jon he is in my prayers as well as you and Alex. A BIG HUG. Reed
Hi Sharon. I have been up since 3AM. I wrote to Jon. It is not due to Russ's coughng. I just could not sleep. It is nice and quiet at that hour I got a lot done. BG 108. I hope Jon had a chance to snooze at D. How is Alex? You making any headway with the school? All this is new to him and to you folks. He will turn it around. I just hope the kids do not tease him. TOPS tomorrow. I have a speaker coming. Take good care and say hello to Alex for me. HUGS,Reed
Hello Sharon. Feeling a little more like a normal person. We both had a good night. The pharmacist told Russ to take MUCINEX tablets rather than the liquid and it really worked. Tom is here so Reed's Diner open for the weekend. Can you believe it is 80 degrees here in January? Bg 102. How is my buddy Alex doing? Is school any better? I hope the kids are more friendly. I have not gone out as the flu is raging, What I had was bad enough, What have you been up to? Is the weather warm there? I heard from Jon this morning. We both are early birds. Take good care of yourself. My best to lex and have a good weekend. HUGS,Reed
Hi there, How are you this weekend? I wanted to thank you for giving me that advice to go get my toe looked at. The doctor ended up lancing it and giving me antibiotics for a week and now it is all better. I was kind of scared but all ended well. I went and got some comfortable shoes with plenty of room in the toe area. So I hope that you are having a nice weekend and that your grandson is doing fine. How is Sparky? I hope you all had a nice Holiday Season. I can't believe that it is the New Year already. Have a nice Saturday. It is nice and sunny here and a good day for a walk. I am deep into cleaning my closets and drawers and finding all kinds of interesting stuff. Lots.
Hello Sharon. Oh,Oh I got Russ's cold. Feel kind of miserable. They finished his nose. Tom saw it and said it looked good. I have not as he is all bandaged. He takes it off tonight for good. This started 12/2 ended 1/3. I hope you get some answers when next you talk to the school folks. I am glad he has a tv that will be good for him. Just wanted to say hello before this cold gets me good. HUGS,Reed
Sharon, so nice you all had a nice Christmas. Hopefully Jon is feeling better, I saw yesterday's dialysis didn't go so well. the school sounds like they will be putting together an IEP for Alex, don't let him get anxious about the testing. they really can diagnose problems much more precisely than in our day. hugs!
Sharon- I am so glad that you and the family had a wonderful Christmas. I hope Jon is feeling better. I guess his health is an on again and off again situation. It sounds like the school has a handle on Alex's problems. Hope they can resolve them. Hope 2013 is a good one for all of you. Cat
Hello Sharon. The holidays are over. My TOPS group went wild 21 pounds GAINED 3 pounds lost. I gasined a pound. I needed to as I was under goal. Did Alex get everything he wanted for Christmas? I bet it was fun for you and Jon to have a young guy in the house again. It is warm here 73 degrees. We are slowly getting the house undecorated. The next thing is the live tree. Russ goes to the surgeon to get the final reconstruction on his nose done. I hope it comes out ok. Take good care. I care. HUGS,Reed
HI Sharon- I hope you and your family had a good Christmas. Did Alex enjoy his 1st Christmas with all of you ? Since my husband & I do not celebrate Christmas, we spent a quiet day at home. As I am writing this note to you, I am watching the snow come down and lay on the streets and grass. It is very beautiful, especially since I can stay inside. We are supposed to get 4" by tonight. I want to wish you and your family a very Happy New Year and a healthy one. I hope that 2013 brings all of you nothing but joy. Cat
thinking of you and Jon, especially. I know Reed had a one day bug with throwing up. I really hope he's feeling better today! We are just making dinner this afternoon for the 2 of us. I've decided to try the Julia Child recipe for the deconstructed turkey, you cook the legs separately from the breast, which roasts on top of the stuffing. we have it all prepared. you can actually put it back together for presentation. I will try to remember to rtake pictures.
wonderful to have a child in the home for Christmas. hugs!!!!
Hello Sharon. How are things? Alex will improve. He has been through a lot. Heavy rain last night then a cold front 40 degrees. I have to go to foot doctor at 1. So happy Jon has time off. Tom is here. Russ wrapping gifts. Reed typing LOL. Take good care and have a good day. My best to Alex. HUGS,Reed
Good Afternoon, Sharon. We both had a good night. PTL. My BG 108. The flap on Russ's nose is growing hair. He would not go shopping. He thought everyone would gawk at him. I got him in no one gawked. It will be finished Jan 2. Is this what women go through when they get a nose job? Gifts all bought house all decorated gifts need to be wrapped. Not me no one would want a gift I wrapped. Glad my little friend Alex is a joy to you. I jnow that he will get the school stuff straightened out...just keep after then. Glad Jon is having time off from work. He works hard. I lost 2 pounds at TOPS...do not know how as I had the HUNGRY HORRORS. Take good care and enjoy the rest of the day. The doorbell rang...Flowers for Reed..from a kid I had in school in 1964..he never misses. HUGS,Reed
