we live on a lake with bass, catfish, pickerel and some others. my husband loves to fish. living on the water is very relaxing to me. I hope you find some good advice here to get your fasting down. Type 1 or 2, we are always having to make adjustments.

Donna H is a 1.5 diabetic. I won't say for sure about Type 1.5 b/c I'm a Type 1 myself and don't know

I think your doctor has you on the right track. A lot of Type 2 have that regimen. I am Type 2 but take only insulin 4 shots a day 1 at each meal and one at bedtime but you also need to have a healthy diet. Watch your carb intake. Good Luck.
