Hi fellow Tu Diabetes Northwest members in the greater Portland and Vancouver area mark your calendars for Saturday, December 11th, from 2 to 4 PM, We’ll be gathering for a diabetes meet-up at the Morning Star Cafe on the corner of 3rd and SW Washington, downtown. Come stay for the full time or just pop in for a cup of coffee and a break in the holiday craziness. We’ll be sharing information and networking and making new friends. Bring a poem or we’ll have some to read. Bring your favorite diabetic friendly holiday recipe to share if you have one. Oregon Meet-Up Next Wednesday September 29th from 11 am until 1 PM at the Cloud 7 Cafe located on Northwest 10th avenue in downtown Portland in the Pearl District. Just got confirmation from the cafe that they are expecting us. I really hope some of you can come some time during those hours even if its just to stay a few minutes. We really want to network with you and share. Come any time in this time period and stay as long as you can. Even if its just a few minutes to have a coffee or tea with us. I really want to get to know my other friends with diabetes.
The cafe is at 901 Nw 10th at Jamison square. Its on the west side of the street. They have reserved space for us and know that we'll be coming. I know we all have busy lives but hope you'll be able to make it and that this is only the beginning of other meet ups to come.
