I learned on FB , that member Anya has passed away , Aug 9 .I feel terrible, that we never connected . . ..I copied and pasted some parts from her FB page :
" Barbara's service will be held on Monday, August 15th at 11am at First Memorial Services in Aldergrove."
" It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Barbara (Bobbi) Merriott. She died peacefully in Langley Hospice on Tuesday, August 9th. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Monday, August 15th at 3 pm. "
" Anya called me , just before leaving Salmon Arm ....2 months ago ?? I had met her on TuDiabetes.org a website for people with diabetes ....we never met in person ; we tried ( I did not try hard enough !!) ......this is very , very sad .I am at a loss for words, as I was when Anya called . My prayers are with the family and friends "

Babs, hope you remember me ?? I have been going here and there and all over the place ( slight exaggeration on my part :-) ) ...off to Calgary this weekend with Team Diabetes , then the plan is to stay home for a bit ...TIME for us 2 to meet up ; what do you think ???

we are having our hardwood floors refinished ..computer room is not as available at the moment ...so bear with me ...yes getting ready ...the euros , loaner insulin pump, meds organized ..

Is your leg ulcerated and painful ??
I am going to suggest to meet for coffee, after my return to the Netherlands, OK ??...I am leaving on April 21 and return May 3 . ...will we have lots to talk about :-) ...in the mean time, maybe you like to visit my page and get a sense , what this thing called diabetes is all about for me .
