Hi Cat. No I have not met Kona yet - still runs and hides. I am going to a friend's tomorrow - about 10 of us are having a potluck noon meal with other people coming in the evening for boardgames, etc.`
Can you believe it will be 55 degrees here tomorrow? Spooky. I better get up early so I can take a long walk on dry pavement.
Hi Cat...Thank You for the kind message, All pre-op tests done today, everything looks good. All set for Monday 8am. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, I am ready to eat!! Love you and take care. xo
Hi, Catlover. I don't have my cat with me any more, as I live in an apartment which doesn't allow cats. She is at my mom's house, and I get to spend the whole day with her tomorrow. Yay! Have a very happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks Cat. It sounds like u & your husband will have some time together for Thanksgiving. U know eating out would beat the crap out of all the cooking for it. Got that going on today here. AND my 5 year g-duaghter thinks she's helping (hurting is more like it but atleast right now she's decided to take out all of the canned stuff out of the cabnets and put them in bowls.) I'm not going to tell her no again b/c when I do she says "Well u won't let me get close to the stove to help u cook" ERRRRRRRRRR! LOL!

HEY Catlove! Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! That meant a lot to me :) I had a nice birthday, my husband took me to dinner and bought me a nook book reader! We have been doing good, we started a new hobby ... we have a saltwater tank now. It's so much fun having this to do together. Our animals are so funny, they love this fall weather. It's so much fun to watch my dog and cat chase each other around the backyard :) How have you been doing? Anything new going on? Have a wonderful week hun!!! - A
Good Morning,Cat. I am pooped today. Yesterday was a long day up at 4AM to bed at 121PM. Tom finished the Marathon. The route was in the middle of a major highway no trees or shade right in the boiling sun. He lost 7 pounds. My legs and ankles like rubber today. This too will past >How are you doing? Your readings good. A big hello to Jim. HUGS,Reed
Hello Cat. I am late. Running around like a chicken with its head cut off getting ready for Reed's Diner to open on Thanksgiving. I just need to pick up the fresh turkey on Wed. No TOPS meeting Wed just weigh in and go. I put some photos up. Tired today. The old gray mare not As young as he used to be. I hope you are doing well not too low and hello to Jim. HUGS,Reed
Good Morning,Cat. The wind was blowing a gale woke me up at 5 so I got up. Tested BG 112. I am sorry you keep running so low. I wonder what the cause is? North Carolina was great but good to be home. Sunday St. Augustine holds its first Marathon. They want to make it an annual event. Tom is running. It starts at 6:15. He has told Reed's Diner he wants pasta Saturday night. Thanksgiving right here at home for Russ.Tom and me. A far cry from the 38 years i did all the family holiday dinners. My best to Jim. Hope you both are doing well. Take good care of yourself. I care. HUGS,Reed
Thank you for the welcome. Did they diagnose you as Type 1 (Did they diagnose you as LADA, did they have that classification in 1999?) Do you have any of the diabetic complications, please excuse me in advance if I am too nosey. Diabetes being a chronic condition leaves me thirsty for knowledge.
Hi Catlover! The picture I put up is of Kahlia, the first cat my husband and I adopted. She died of feline cancer a year and a half ago and I miss her daily. We have 3 other furry children, and given the smallest encourgement I could on and on about our cats.
hi cat, he'll be back before we know it. I think it's a good idea to take little breaks from time to time. I'm feeling somewhat accomplished today. A quilt I've been working on since 2003 is now all put together in the top except for a couple of flowers. I should be able to get that done by the weekend. then it's off to the quilter. I have a marvelous gal who does the most unbelievable work with her longarm machine. I'm sorry about the other thing. I'm glad you're able to hang out here with all of us and spread a little cheer.
