Hello Cat. Just got back from the dentist. It poured rain in town for over an hour thunder lightning too. I said it will be good for my garden. On the island we did not get a drop. Dentist filled 2 cavities one under a crown. My jaw is sore. Tom is on the Art and Architecture Faculy gets to attend many conferences. To be selected for the International Committe is an honor. Bg 104. I could not write the check out for the dentist my hands were shaking it is the new stuff they give you now. How are things with you? I hope good. Give my best to Jim. Take good care. cat thanks for asking, my bit no longer itches and it seems to be a little better. I've been in a hectic swirl of activity and stress with the NJ State fair, that's why I haven't been on much. been at the fairgrounds all weekend for the "take in" of items to be judged, not just quilts but the canning, everything. so much work! tomorrow I'll be gone all day there with the quilt judging. I coordinate all the judges and we aim for the highest professional judging we can, even though only one of us is a certified quilt judge. let anyone who asks know I'm just super busy. the fair starts Friday and I'm there almost every day. I wish some of our NJ Tu members would surprise me there. This year we are going to also have a bigger presence at the Quilts Of Valor booth there. did I mention I'm entering 3 things in the baking contest anf the Fleishman's Yeast competition? 1st time entrant in those categories. hope you and Jim are doing good, weird weather we're having, like a monsoon yesterday.

HELLO CAT. CRAZY DAY. I WAS UP until 1AM helpimng Tom get ready for his prsentation this morning at Government House. It was about historic documents. St. Augustine is the oldest city in the USA. He just called said a big crowd and it went well.

This morning when I opened my email there was a notice about the passing of one of my best friend. He and I walked to school with each other from K to 12. We both graduated from high school in 1944 and we went into the service. He went into real estate gift shops antique shops. He sold his shop THE WOODEN INDIAN for over a million dollars. There were three of us. Dick died last6 yea Ed July 24 and I am still hanging on.

Just got back from the foot doctor.

The last time I took BG it was 104 curious as it is 104 here we are in the midst of a heat wave.

My gardens have snails. I put saucers of beer around and get them drunk. Hope you are doing well. Not too low. My very best to Jim. Is your thumb all better?

Cat..welcome home! Good you had a good trip and feeling well. I feel great....but rosie had her annual checkup and when got home this afternoon. I put her on my lap to sooth her. She lept away and gouged my inner though. i hope and pray i do not get sick again like i had a few months ago. I should never pick this cat up. she does not mean to scratch but her back claws dug into me. Sounds like storms are coming our way and yours too. be well. Lisa

Good Morning,Cat. I enjoyed the photos again. The house looks very nice. I had a good night. Got up at 7 tested BG 109. In a better framne of mind. I am fighting a wheel chair. I have a big walker in the house with a seat. In the car a small 3 wheel walker to go to doctors. Use my common sense. Why drive to drug store take out the walker go in store get the stuff come out put walker in car when the drug store has FREE DELIVERY. Go shopping Sat when Tom is here. Never go out at night only Weekends and Tom Here to help. He comes tonight as he is running a big meeting tomorrow about his GRANT. How are you doing? Your readings good? How is Jim doing? oh gosh, I never thought of that. it's about 3/8 inch now on the big bite and 2 others just small, but they all itch. I think they are healing though, today. It's going to be really hot tomorrow, not so bad today, we don't have the ac on either.

cat, enjoyed the pictures of the family. love those old Victorians in the Bay area. we had a big storm that came through today, then it started hailing, which tore through my Swiss Chard and put holes in it! thank God we had just gotten home from the store.

GOOD MORNING CAT!! Whatcha up to today?
How have you been feeling??? The kids here are packing like mad. They're moving out next Saturday...and get the keys Friday. The grandkids will be with the other grandma then. Our daughter has a new shift that entails her having to work some Sundays, and Stephen (her little guy) would then be babysat here by our daughter-in-law. However next Sunday, if that's the case... Stephen will be with her ex! Next Saturday will be a madhouse here!! On this coming Wednesday (the 18th), I'm helping out at a fundraiser with the Canadian Diabetes Association. It's an amazing day outside! Wishing YOU an awesome day :)
