Hi Cat! Thank you so much for being so warm and friendly. Right now Im still freakin' out about this..just been over a month and I get anxiety during the night...which might be from a slightly low BS..my body was used to high sugars for a while before this was figured out. Went from 6.1->9.1 in 6 months..so the low Bs sensation for me is at 85...
tnx again for the sweet message..
hugs,
meryl

Hi Cat,

I felt good yesterday and skipped the pain pill. That was a big mistake. I think maybe it builds up in the system because this morning I felt bad. Tomorrow is the colonoscopy. I can't eat anything but clear liquids today. At five I start drinking that stuff, a gallon, and then four a.m, another one.

Today is warmer and overcast, more blue than grey. I picked up three big clay pots yesterday and got out the stuff to paint them with. I am making a plant stand. When I do art it really calms me down, very relaxing. I never see any doctors, just do tests. Tomorrow a liver specialist will look them all over and then I finally know what's up.

I watched the Oscars' too. I love the fashion, design and the jewels. Everyone looks so pretty. I ended up on another channel before it ended. I am checking out the news today. I think they will have the highlights on E.
If you want to see a good movie, I thought the best was "Les Miserables." I cried manny times seeing that. I would like to see all of them. There were many good movies made this year.

I bet you are glad that you have no doctors this week. Are you feel ing better now? How is Jim? I was silly asking you about the Old Testament. Heh, you can tell I am an ex-catholic! I know it is called the Talmud.

The Canadian geese are back today.

Hi Cat,

Thank you for telling me of your holiday. Did you enjoy the celebration? I love studying about philosophy and all the different religions. I am reading the Bible and Al-QAl-Qur'an, the Upanishads and the Tao. Is your Holy book the Old Testament? Are there other books as well?

I hope you are having a good morning. I am going soon to the store for art supplies. My tremor is completely gone and to me that is a miracle. I am excited about starting my art again. I have so many ideas. Maybe I will paint a giraffe for you. Painting animals is one of my favorites. Lots

Hi Cat,
Sorry you weren't feeling well yesterday. Are you feeling any better today? This morning has flown by and that is how it is for me lately. I am on pain medication and it is strong, so I have a tendency to fall asleep during the day. I don't like losing time.
Today is very dull and grey. It is deciding whether it wants to rain or to snow or to not do anything. Chris is going to his friend's home later today to paint his bathroom for him. He has to patch up some damage from a water leak, and then put on two coats of paint, so I don't expect him to be home until late. I wish I could go with him because I like talking to his friend. He is interested in politics and I am too, but I don't feel like being up that much.
I am trying to get motivated to do some house cleaning. I need to do some laundry, clean the bathroom and clean up my room. I also have to get my closet organized. I hope that I get some energy going to do that.
So what is going on with you and with your health now? How is Jim doing? You are going out for a holiday? Can you tell me a little bit about the celebration? I love to learn new things. Thanks for your prayers, they are deeply appreciated. Have a nice time at the synagogue. Lots

Hi Cat,

I am having a hard time getting on Tu as well because I have so many tests. Just this week I have an MRI, endoscopy, and colonoscopy to go to, and the pain clinic is coming up. I wish I could say then it would be all over but I think really it is just beginning! Thank goodness they have a great gift shop at the hospital I go to. I have spent a small fortune in that place. They have great stuff and it is better than the mall and has super good prices.
Today we took back the new comforter I bought because it got a hole in it the first time I washed it, and then we decided to go to the Garden Center and I bought seven pots of herbs, rosemary, thyme, parsley, sage, oregeno, mint, and basil. I am going to cook with fresh herbs from now on.
How are you feeling lately Susan, and how is your husband coming along? I hope that his blood tests are still coming out well. Are you all healed up from your falls? Don, MissKitka here on Tu has been falling a lot too and passing out due to lows. He got black and blue eyes and bit his lip, a book case fell on him, awful.
Zen is so funny. I have been in bed quite a bit, a great big king sized sleep number bed. Zen is always in here with me. She is so funny. I think she thinks that I am a cat, like her mom cat. I have been trying to figure out the way that a cat thinks. So far I have taught her a couple tricks. One is that I have staring contests with her and I see who is going to look away first. She would only stare me down a few minutes and now we are staring each other down for a long time, also seeing which one will blink first. Then I bump my finger on the bed and she bumps her tail every time I bump my finger, and this goes on a long time. Then I taught her to stick out her tounge. I lick my lips like a cat and then she learned how to do it every time I do it. Today I was filing my fingernails and I started to play with her tickling her with it, she likes that a lot. Right now I she is snuggling in the new comforter. I have the heating pad tonight! She is probably mad at me.
It was nice out today, but cold. Tonight is supposed to go down to 16, the lowest we have had. It is super windy out there now. The clouds are white against the black sky and it is really blustery. Maybe we will get some snow.
I was so surprised by that award. I didn't know we were having awards and I certainly didn't expect to get one. It made me so happy. I like the way that it goes to my page. I guess I better change the design more.
Well, we have had a long day, so sleepy. Take Care, Lots

hi Cat, we actually went down to Philly Friday and stayed there at my sister's so we could avoid the snow. then we ended up only getting 4 or 5 inches. The funeral was really perfect, the music and the tributes to my uncle were fantastic. At his request, bourbon was served at the reception. "Virginia Gentleman", which he certainly was. thanks for checking in.
