She is having a real hard time and on top of this she is going for her doctorate in clinical psych and is falling behind a little. She also has a cat and thank goodness for Kitty, she is great company for her. She really wants to see if I can get a class action going with the pharmaceutical company that produces Accutane. I spoke to a lawyer and just waiting. We are all in shock and even though her numbers are OK she is so bummed.
I just remembered it was in Chestnut Hill. such a cute shopping area. anyway, I highly recommend Penzey's. I have a cabinet full of their stuff. trying their new Rojo taco tonight.
hi cat, I just got back from visiting my mother in VA. also spent some time with my sis in Gladwyne. She took me to the Penzey's store in a cute shopping area somewhere nearby. I've been a mail order customer for many years, and it was exciting for me to go to an actual store. Do you know them? it's a wonderful place for herbs and spices.
OK kitty lover, I will go to the homepage right now. My lump is under armpit. Surgeon wants me to get mammogram fist. Its been 3 years. I hear horrible things about the radiation and false positives with mammos. No palpable breast lumps. Thought of getting cut always feels pretty bad, but this should be done.
Thanks for the warm greets. This website is very informational and am hoping to find out more about the medications that I take to manage my diabetes. You don't by any chance have a victoza link somewhere where I can find out more about this new med?

Please send me the link to Danny. I am not finding it. Just returned from amazing dinner out and trying to figure out how to get my sugars adjusted. My body is in freak mode between wine and dessert. I do not know why I do this sometimes.
anyway...life is good...need to get a lump removed so going through the surgeon thing for now.
Kitties are good. Louie has gone into full sentences these days. I come in and ask him to come upstairs...he says...NO...you come down here.
I am loving your cats too!
Do you take Carlson Fish oils? They are very different in quality I am hearing.
Hey catlover....thanks for the good wishes. Yes....I'm afraid Canada's Thanksgiving celebration is very similar to yours, in that it's become a food orgie! The fare differs according to geographical location...but nevertheless, ends up being a costly and overabundant luxury. We ended with a WHOLE lot of left overs, as I wasn't well over the weekend and had to cancel the invites to our dinner....but I still had to cook turkey and all....or it surely would have spoiled!
So tomorrow will salvage the last of the turkey meat and freeze it....I'm getting sick of it!
Also in the spread was a "tourtière" (French Canadian) which is a meat pie with such spices as nutmeg and cloves...garlic also. Mine is made with pork. LOVE it...it's a tradition. Many pastries in French cuisine! Also had a nice "potage" (a soup), this one a clear soup broth with a variety of vegetables, including lettuce as well ass herbs...dill and parsley. Aside from likely turkey...what else did you serve? For dessert...rice pudding!! Had to have something English....for my hubby ;) Your Thanksgiving is on the 25th....St Catherine Day (celebrated in Québec with taffy...this originates in France, and had to do with having a taffy pull...mixed company, as a means of marrying of the old maids, which would have meant being over 25 many centuries ago)...nowadays, it's all about the taffy! My birthday is the following day! Apparently, had I been born on the 25th...my grandmother would have wanted me to be named....Catherine!! (Wouldn't have happened, according to my mother!!)
take care cat....
luv, linda
Thanks for the welcome catlover. I hope to get to know some of the people here on tudiabetes... would really like to find others in the Kansas City area... really to need to find a couple of people to talk to for some support.
Oh, doing a little better, a bit "coughy" now but I can tell I'm on the mend, slowly. Thanks for asking after me! Hope you're doing well and no illnesses are anywhere near you!
