Oh wow that is very interesting.
I recently went to a meeting, that had presentations on the Minimed, Cozmo, Animas Ping, and the OmniPod.
The OmniPod definitely caught my eye, and next the Ping, but the Minimed looked nice too.

oh, Holger, you are a busy person with many things to do....I am just lazy on the matter, and I'm sure I'll be okay just calling Accu-chek. I am going to a new endo the end of the month, so I'll get my act together for that appointment. I noticed we have a new member from Vienna today who is a physician, I know you'll be your friendly self and say hi.

hello again. I had to call accu-chek for some help updating my palm, and I asked them how soon the new pump system with the bluetooth would be available. she stammered a bit and almost asked me how I found out about it. I said, just wondering....funny, huh?

anyway, I signed onto their website and couldn't get anywhere with the smartpix update. maybe I'll call them to help me. You're so nice to offer. Do you have any other Spirit pump users trying Glucosurfer? Once I get all this ironed out, I'd be glad to let you have sample data. You can see how bad my numbers are. It's a wonder my a1c isn't higher......

hi, Holger, thanks for the info. I'll check it out next time I go to Accu-chek's site. (the link you sent me is in German). I just got their new update to the Palm which has Calorie King software and (supposedly) better reports. I would love to have one that has the Bluetooth - isn't that more popular than infared? I have a hard time keeping up with new technology.

wow, your girl is from Heidelberg, it is a small world. Mom, dad, and my older brother and 3 sisters were all in Germany from '59 to '63. Dad spent several weeks deployed in the Gap during the Cuban Missile Crisis, was a rough time for every one there.

If I ever get over that way. I'll look you up for Oktoberfest!
