Carolyn,
I wanted to make you aware of the TuAnalyze application we've launched on TuDiabetes, which is now mapping averages of A1c values in the US and Canada...
http://www.tudiabetes.org/forum/topics/tuanalyze-now-mapping-canada

Actually, once we get more people in Canada to participate in the project, provinces there will begin to light up.

Here's how you can enter your A1c on TuAnalyze:
-Click on this link: http://www.tudiabetes.org/profiles/profile/apps
-You will be taken to your My Apps page.
-Give it a few seconds. At the top, you will see something similar to this image.

-Click on the button and follow the rest of the instructions on the screen.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Carolyn,
Welcome to the tudiabetes.com family. Its great to see family and friends getting educated and involved in Diabetes.

Here are a few tips; on how to make the most of the site. I invite you check out the different groups; we have: there's an excellent chance you will find more than a few that you can identify with.

If you find the community useful, please:
-Link to us on your blog/site (if you have one).
-Invite; family, friends, colleagues and anyone whom you feel may benefit from it.
-Consider making a donation by clicking on the "Donate" button on the right side of the page, to support the work we do.

Also, if you know of any local newspapers, TV or radio stations that you feel could be interested in writing about our community, please let them know about our recent Press Release, announcing the community: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/8/prweb546849.htm;

Last, if you run into Spanish-only speaking folks, please let them know about EsTuDiabetes.com;, our sister Spanish-speaking community.

We look forward to hearing from you and sharing your experiences with us.

take care and stay in control.
