Last race we did was the one in Secunda [beginning May] It was rough but scenic [yes believe it or not Secunda CAN be scenic] Riding between all the cosmos was a breath taking experience!! You didn't perhaps do that ride? At the moment it is so cold though...haven't had the guts to drag our asses out into the cold again!! What is your sis doing in Secunda? Sasol? That seems to be the most common denominator of all people staying in Secunda!! So which ride are you going to attempt next? Which one woulod you recommend to motivate us to get our arses back in the saddle?
I would think the doctor would know that any form of steroid will effect your BG levels. Hmmmm I hope it helps and your levels aren't too out of whack. Even a slight cold and mine go bonkers.
That is no fun at all! How severe is the injury? I have an old soccer injury in my ankle that hasn't healed properly and i injured it again a few years ago by taking a step down the stairs and rolled my ankle and tore 3 ligaments in it. Wearing high heels is a disaster waiting to happen. Haha

So I hear. I have friends who live in UK and when they come here to Seattle they say its just not the same. Guess I should get my passport and go investigate. LOL
I got World Cup FEVER!!!! I'm so excited. I used to play soccer or 'football'. I have a feeling this is going to be an epic tournament.

Thanks for the friendship. How are you doing? I see by your picture that you bike ride. I do too. Next year I'm planning on doing a 2 day event totaling 200 miles from Seattle, Washington to Portland, Oregon. Anywho hope all is well, take care.
hi Andrie, My levels go completely out of whack when I'm stressed, which is most of the time. I battle with control all the time. i've been diabetic for 15 years and i still hate everything about it. Stay well, Debi
Like I told Marie B I GOTTA TRY SOMETHING!!! I had just about gave up! Thank you for the idea!!! I will get one today! It seems EVERY SPRING (and Fall now) I go threw this and EVERYTHING the Dr precsribs dosen't help!!!
