Hi Lots. Glad that you are back to work, and I hope that Thanksgiving Day was a happy day for you and your family (and Zen). We had a lovely day with family; great food and great weather. We are now having winter; the change was quite abrupt! With all our neighborhood Christmas lights on, the Holiday seasons have changed abruptly, too. Cheers!
Hi Ms Lots, No I did not go out for Black Friday. Donna used to drag me out to do that and I dont miss it. Standing in front of Target at 5 am for the doors to open was not always fun in cold weather. But she got deals and how she liked that. It was just getting too crazy at the end.
My sister had a nice spread too and sent some food for take home. I already ate that. I ate everything but in reason. I had taken my Victoza which helps and makes me not so hungry too but it really helps me for the after meal spikes more.
It is now Winter here as Kathy has probably told you.
Hi Lots- thanks for your message. Glad you are feeling better. I love your page, especially the Susan Boyle Song. Looks like you had a quiet T-giving.I closely examined the pics of Zen, she is really beautiful. Her coat is very shiny. Black cats tend to have shinier coats. Our Zorro's coat is shiny too. Hope you are able to go back to work, pain free. It is very winterlike here today. Gray clouds and windy. Take care of yourself. Cat ( Susan)
Hello Lots. Pretty page. Just winding down. The holiday was good. Too much food. Nice and chilly here. I klove it. Having a tough time getting my BG down after that heavy dose of cortisone. Tom up at 5 ran 18 miles getting ready for a Maraton. I couldn't even run to the door. Need to call in medicine as they close at noon and Sunday. Big game today Florida vs Florida State. How are you feeling? I hope much, much better. Take it easy and do nt overdo. Sit down and put yput your feet up. HUGS,Reed
Thar is absolutely beautiful-I love that ! My daughter just came through the room and she loves it too ! Not to mention the pictures !! Music has a way of cutting through all the muck and touching the soul..thanks Lots :)

Hello Ellen. Read more of your trial and tribulations on Kasthy's page. Love your page. Loved the surgeon who said I do not need knee replacements just shots and medication. I see him 11/30. Bedtime BG 410. Breakfast 340 lunch 324. I guess it takes 3 days to flush out the Cortisone. Had a good night. I went shopping and at the Cashiers my left knee locked. I could not move. Something to discuss with the pain man. Thanksgiving is sad for me. My sister was coming to my house. We were on the phone the phone went blank she had a heart attack and died. My late Mpther's Birthday Nov 28 Thanksgiving often on that date. There will be just be three of us. I said to Russ lets eat in the kitchen. NO NO we are eating in the dining room. Good silver silver candledsticks sukver salt and pepper silver roll basket..we have it we use it. A kid I had in school 40 years ago sent me an autymn floral centerpiece. How are you feeling? Hope better.
Chico is visiting. Tm will take photos.
Have a wonder Thanksgiving.
My favorite Thanksgiving gift...You as a dear friend. HUGS,Reed
Hi Lots. I seem to be taking two steps forward and one step back. But I can deal with it. The fruit basket contained star fruit blood oranges, mango, pomegranates, persimmons, these white plum-like things from Africa and tiny champagne grapes. He said he liked the concert and the seat was great. At least the ticket wasn't wasted. I really emjoyed your last comment to me re healthcare. It made lot of sense.
Have a great Thanksgiving. I hope little Zen enjoys his first holiday!
Hi Lots. I hope everything is going good with your new kitty. I am doing fine. I am keeping busy. I suppose you are cooking up a storm for Thursday.
I am going to my sisters. It will be nice to get a home cooked meal again. I eat the same thing all the time and it gets kinda boring and I dont cook that great. It does help though for my numbers.
Hello Lots. How are things? I am miserable, I could cry but big boys do nt cry. I am calling my ortho in the morning. I know I cannot get the injections until March but I think I can get a cortisone shot. He knows I refuse knee replacement BUT I am wondering if there is a pill that can ease the pain. I take one of Russ's PERCOCET but do not want to do that until a doctor sez it is ok. Must make you feel good to know your companywants you back and will arrange hours and days. Tom ran the Half Marathon. He said it was so windy it is awonder he did not get blown off the bridge. How is Zen? Have you been able to get out and arund? I want to see LINCOLN. They say it is a great film.
Hi Lots. How goes it? I am very weak from being down so long but I think slowly improving. I did not go to the concert. Gave the ticket to a friend of my neighbor across the hall and he really enjoyed it and sent me a basket of exotic fruit. Maybe there will be another opportunity. I told Reed to put on his nurses hat and get up here to fluff my pillow.
But he may not thing onion rings and Coke Zero would be best for a sick person LOL.
Once again, I feel like I was tossed around by several doctors during this episode. Everyone in such a big hurry to get on to the next patient. You know the drill. I don't like it one bit.
It all started with my kidney doc being so excited that my results were stable, he gave my other symptoms no consideration. He looked in one ear - why not both? I had a terrible coughing fit right in his face and he didn't seem to notice.
Hope you are doing okay, my dear. Have a good weekend.
