HI Lots- Well, 2012 is coming to an end. I think I'm glad. I hope 2013 is a healthier year for you and Jim and I and all of our friends on TuD. I dropped Kathy a welcome home note. I hope she has a healthier 2013 too. We are currently having a beautiful snowfall, it covered the streets and grass right away. It is supposed to continue until evening and give us 4". I really like snow when I can stay inside and watch it. Wishing you a very Happy New Year !!! Cat

Hey Lots it has been ages and ages since I have been on line. Life has been busy with way more than I want to be dealing with. My sweetie had to stop work because of fibromyalgia. That is a hard one to figure out, hard to figure out that one is actually afflicted with that one. Vague symptoms that come and go. Pain that is in a shoulder for awhile and then down into a hip. Hard to put it all together into a recognized disease even when it is happening to ones own self.It was time anyway for a bunch of reasons. The whole thing sucks actually have to put the best face on it that we can. We hate the insecurity. We hope that she can get S.S.I. disability, that takes months at leastso the getting by till then is a stressful time. I wonder what life would be like without medical issues as such a major piece of our lives. There are times that it feels like it is just to much. Too expensive too complicated, strips, meters sets, plumbing, carbohydrates, and then the medications and then the complications and now on top of that I am getting old. Arthritis in my hands and sometimes in other joints. The hands are the worst because they hurt all the time and the doc s say fuse the joints or use symptomatic relief. Because of my diabetic kidneys the symptomatic relief is narcotics and that is a whole 'nother ball of wax. I am afraid that this will sound like I am whining about life etc. hopefull even if I sound bleak It is really nice to have Cindy at home. The bummer part is the $ and the insurance. There are a bunch of good things happening in our lives. Things besides all the normal fine things in our lives. I give sincere thanks to the great spirit everyday for our many many blessings. Sorry that I have been so scarce in computerland

Hi Ms Lots. I got a beautiful sweater from my sister and some very nice gift cards from friends. I also got a really nice sweat top. So I had a good Christmas. I am glad you like your kitty Zen. Sometimes cats dont always work out so I am glad you have one with a good personality. Snowing today here and we have 4 inches of the fluffy stuff, very light snow. Sounds like you had a full Christmas too.

Talk soon

Ellen, Kathy is home. She is wiped out. She is now on COUMADAN. Same as Russ. It works but you have to be tested at leastonce a month. She has snow and it is cold. Frankie only has to have IV once a week much better than every other day. And only for 3 more weeks. 35 degrees here. My regular barber,Robin, was out to lunch so I had to go to the owner. He gives a good haircut too. Hope all is well with you. Just wanted tou to know Kathy is home. HUGS,Reed

In the meantime, maybe you'll appreciate this cute rendition by a motley assortment of 'silent monks'. Keep an eye on the little fella second from the right.

Hi Lots- I hope you had a merry Christmas yesterday. What did Santa bring you ? What did SantaPaws bring Zen ? We spent a quiet day at home. We also had snow on Christmas Eve and we are having some now, but it is supposed to turn to flooding rain by tonight. Are you off this week ? How is your toe doing and your stomach ? Any "hot" plans for New Years Eve ? We are just going over a friend's house for the evening. Stay well. Cat

I hope you had a merry Xmas. I went up to my sisters in Hagerstown, Md. I got to see all my family, but we worried about my aunt who is in Sibley Hospital with pneumonia. I hope you had a good day.
