Hello Lots lovely to hear from you hope you are keeping well and life is treating you ok,I have not been able to type for a while but slowly getting back to normal,smudge is cuddled up to the radiator all four legs in the air so I guess she is content after eating breakfast,my Angel is agt work bless her and the snow is falling again 4 inches over night but this morning was bitterly cold.
Miss our Ben there is a bond between you and a dog thaty you do not seem to get with ac cat always wagging his or her tail when she or he greets you listening to ones ramblings during the day keeping my feet warm on a cold day like this yes I do miss our Ben.
Hope suri is keeping well,the Shire looks magical covered in snow I miss being able to get out walk and take photos,watching the snow flakes fall not straight down but circling like a tornado slowly spinning down and down 4 cats at the patio doors no idea where they live looking at me as if to say come on let us in and feed us back in a moment.........................ok put four plastic plates out wh dried food allchewing away must be tyelling there friends where food can be got.
Two sparrows sitting on a neighbours tv ariel chatting away well fred looks like the snow is here to stay when do you fly away to warmed climes no idea sid have to fly for a while to keep warm see you later.

Hi Lots- Are you off today ? Do you have you hypothyroidism ? I have had it for years. Way before D. I take synthroid 100 mcg ( I think ). My PCP checks my TSH, t3, AND t4 yearly. They have been fine for years. Many T-1 D have it too. But I guess you know that. I is supposed to get super cold starting tonight thru Thurs. Lows in the teens at night. I am sure we will get no sympathy from Kathy. Have you heard from her lately ? Hope you are feeling OK. Still walking ? I am. I don't know about when it gets cold. Stay well and regards to Zen. Cat

Sorry for the thyroid frustration:( Know how you feel. I've said it before, but I think hypothyroidism is more difficult than diabetes. Afraid I live over 4 hours from you. Good Afternoon Ellen. 2 rough days. Russ so feeble and slow it is pitiful. I made him use my 2nd walker for security. I think he likes it. I got tired of NO NO so I called his doctor. He goes Monday at 11. Tom is here so he will take him. Russ tends not to tell all to get out of there. Tom will tell all. Why is he so weak has his heart conditon worsened etc, TOPS the speaker was a NO SHOW. I had to wing it for 40 minutes. Thank God I have a gift of gab. Still coughing but not bad. Sunny 62 cold wind but I like it. How are yu feeling. I heard a new one..for tired feet rub on Vicks Vav O Rub and put on socks. I hope you are enjoying the weekend. Do you have Monday off.? Hello Ellen. I was up at 3AM not due to Russ's cough just me. I hope I am not going to have a 5 day bout of insomnia like I did last year. Russ's cough is getting better. I just saw on TV coughing lasys 18 days. Antibiotics NO GOOD cause more harm than good. LIGHT WENT ON. Russ was on antibiotics for 7 days after nose surgery. I had a nice surprise. I had a phone call from Kathy. It was so nice to talk to. She caight me trying to get Chico to go home. They have 2 other cats. I bet Chico likes it here to get some peace.TOPS tomorrow. I have a speaker. Reversing things Speaker then Business meetring to fit into the speaker's time frame. I am tired. I hope things are well with you. Continue to lose weight you will feel better. hi there lots! I've been off the computer for a few days, sorry to not reply sooner. I see you got yourself a corned beef and did it in the crock pot. that's how I do mine too. I usually put a strip of orange peel in there with it. oh I really like this page you have, very sophisticated. glad to hear you're walking. when I was working, that's what i did too, as soon as I got home. helps you decompress and clears the mind. I can't wait to take a walk today myself.

Hello Ellen. Another lovely page. How are you feeling? Russ goes up and down. I got him a new Mucinex just for coughs.1 every 12 hours. That stuff is pricey over $20. Worried again. I have not heard frm Kathy in 4 or 5 days. She gets out and then,I think,overdoes things sshe has a relapse. Home nothing serious. Maybe her computer broke. Chico has been here all day. Hello Ellen. Shame on me. I forgot to thank you for your lovely 2 cards. GREAT DAY. Russ slept through the night. No wandering. As a result I did too. He polished furniture put out Winyer antique items read. PROGRESS. I did stuff TOPS. My cold did not mature like Russ's. Darl dreary and rainy here. Tom called all excited his Dean recommended him for a full professorship. Chico in and out. Stamds where I have his treats and meows. He is so cute. How are things with you? Uou feeling better? Hi Lots- That is a beautiful owl you put on Reed's page. We hear owls hooting at night when we are in bed and see their droppings on many of the trees. Hope you are feeling better, saw where you were under the weather on Sunday. Did Zen help you feel better ? I don't remember if I told you that Jim only has to wear a compression stocking on his leg to help his clot disappear. The surgeon said they don't remove clots in the leg. So he will wear the stocking for 6 months then see the doc again.We are glad !!!! Hope you have a good, healthy week. Cat ( Susan )

Happy New Year and congrats on the raise - even if the new taxes take most of it back. At least you end up in a better 'place' at the end of the year, tax-bracket-wise. Did I mention that Mitt Romney has a family 'cottage' up here near our little getaway place? We pointed one of our walks in the direction of the Romney's Grand Bend place I found on the net and actually found the same place pictured! No big fences. No moat, no gaters, not even a 'squad' of uniforms to keep anyone out. But we just took a couple pictures and kept on walking anyway. Nice house but nothing special, considering the wealth. The Romney place actually backs onto another road where I have some clients living half the year. Ok, so they're rich clients - ambassadors who travel WELL all year and spoiled their kids (which is how I met them, their kids all "forgot" to file tax returns). I actually get to meet Dad today, finally. I've already met and done several years' returns for the 3 kids and passed all their respective tuition onto the grandparents' returns so I'm really met the whole fam damily except the fella who hired me! Hopefully he brings some $ with him as I have a huge MasterCard bill coming out today which I have to phone about - oops. Guess I have to keep this short, friend. I did not see anything about our site elections this past month. Did I manage to miss the whole enchilada? I had to turn off the email notifications when I went to the other house (where I have to conserve internet bytes) so it is remotely possible that I could have missed the whole Award Ceremony and that's one of my famourite tuD times, so I'm quite miffed at me. (Not to worry, I'm almost always miffed at me... according to Dave).
I wanted to tell you some more stuff though so maybe I'll get a chance to write to Linda and/or Teena today too and spread a little more 'news' around. I have not heard from Reed in awhile and he no longer shows up on my list of friends. I have a horrible feeling I've offended him somehow and don't even know how. I did message him when I didn't get a chance to write to anyone else, because I knew he likes to get messages and mail but I guess he just doesn't wanna play with this ole Canuck. I still read his page anytime I get here and check on him and everyone else we have in common, including thee. Now that you're feeling a bit better, maybe you'll get to the chat room occasionally, but even as I type that, I'm secretly hoping you pass on the computer time and spend any spare time you have outside walking with your boy(s). We don't take our cats out on walks in the snow - they really prefer the warmth - BIG time - over cold. At the country place, there are a couple of 'abandoned' cats from the trailer park across the way. People holiday there and then just leave their cats behind when they go home. So cruel. One black cat goes by us often and I think I saw him limping last time. He might also be feeding on our beautiful backyard birds! The hardships of nature! Speaking of which, we will likely be here for a day or two this week as our wonderful next door neighbour died last night (they were the ones who had the horrible fire last year). I guess all the trauma and moves and especially the Alzheimers took their toll. He was my proxy-papa since my own dad died in 2001. I miss them both. Sorry about the sad ending, but maybe I can show off my new "hand crafted" Christmas slippers as I'm pretty sure they are almost as comfy as your new ones are!

Hi Lots, weekend going ok. We are watching a Ravens and Indiana Colts football game. Jon and I are from Baltimore and remember when the colts left Baltimore and people there are still angry. Ravens aren't a bad team, and I eventually became one of their fans even though I now live in Mississisippi.

Jon is doing better this weekend. They are still having trouble with his fistula and used it and the chest catheter Sat. It doesn't give his blood as good a clean out as he needs. He has been sleepy. Glad the New Year is here, but wonder what will happen in 2013. Alex starts back to school tomorrow and it means my getting him up at 6am, making him breakfast and driving him to the corner to catch the school buss. Never know when the bus will show up for sure. I found out its going to be really hard to get him an appt with the pediatrician to talk about ADD meds for him. We think he is on the autism spectrum and has ADD. Looking back through all the paperwork they gave us on him and the abuse and neglect reports and both of those are mentioned in there even as far back to when he was is kindegarden. Testing and evaluations are supposed to start this month at his school, and I am hoping the school system finally got his accumulative school records from the school in Mass which has been holding up him getting the help he needs here. Its going to be rough getting back into the routine of school and homework again, but sure did enjoy the Christmas Vacation.
