Greetings, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Julie Ann....you have such a GREAT attitude ♥ Thank you!!!
Best Wishes on your Special Day....and on the next 364 days!
How's it all going? Do you have any questions or comments?
Julie Ann---We had a lot of fun--just gabbed our heads off about Life, The Universe and everything----including The D, of course! We're shooting for getting together again the second Saturday in December---maybe 2-4PM at some little cafe downtown where folks could pop in for coffee and a break from shopping frenzies. I'll scope out some spots and be in touch!...
Julie--I'm meeting up with Ricky Joe Cook, TuD's own Blind Chef, on 9/29 at Cloud Seven Cafe in NW---901 NW 10th---11AM-1PM or so. Join us if you can. Or let me know if you'd like to meet up at another time. Hope you and yours are well!.....
Thank you for dropping by my page its lovely of you and to leave me a message makes me even more happy.Thank you about the A1C just sometimes the doctors make me feel a bit down about my hardwork when they say your good a1c could be due to the amount hypos but thank you a million.
Congratulations on your dentist appointment little things do make us happy and we deserve it.
Best wishes dear friend keep being strong and fighting the diabetes.
Hey Julie! :))) Nice to hear from ya... Yeah, I'm managing best I can, as I don't have a job yet, and not many strips... but I've lost 70 lbs, and feel pretty good. :) Now it's time to find new clothes! :)
Cool to see somebody close to the same length of longevity as I. I am wondering if you were diagnosed as a child and if you had the flu or chicken pox prior to diagnosis. Also, if you're a fan of guerilla art with diabetic themes, check out my photographs. I always appreciate feedback. Thanks,
Well Im glad to see that u r able to right... so I guess Im not the only one to feel the affcets of the years with Type 1 , as you say its tough when we get our boat rocked, I can go through months of fairly consistent readings and control,, and then the slightest of infections causing all types of issues, I hear whatr you are saying regarding pump maintenance versus injection therapy , and over all I do have pretty good control using Humalog and Nph, and in the near future implement some lantus to replace the old schoolm Nph insulin, I guess the grass isnt always greener on the other side... but you cant knock a diabetic for trying..lol
