Hi fellow Delawarean - my parents live in Hockessin in Yeatmans Mill. Thanks for the message, its always good to hear from nice folks. Sorry I took so long to reply but I don't get on here too often. And yes it'd be nice to swap stories sometime.

OMG, I'm so much better! Thanks for asking  :)  The cold is almost gone (miraculously) and my sugar has actually been better than usual the last couple days (still pooh at night.  Oh well). Must be all the hugs!  The event is the annual fundraiser gala for the San Francisco LGBT Center, and I think it'll be really great.  I've never been before because it's expensive.  Here's the link, if you're curious.  My partner and I are dancing to a French song being lipsinced by a drag queen named "Fauxnique".  Should be a hoot :)  I hope you have a great weekend!

Thanks for commenting on my blog! You'll find this funny - but everytime I fill out the legal paperwork for a vacation loaner pump (incase you lose the pump - you have to fork out the $7K for it - ouch) - I always get a colour unlike the one I have at the time. I've gone thru' beautiful blue (Antonio Banderas), Salvador was lime green, and now George Michael who is pink (more like a candy apple red). His name came about because all my pumps have been male, and being pink, well, it's not exactly a Male colour. Well, just my luck, my UK friends on the cruise said that George was gay - and he's CUTE - so that name stuck with the loaner pump and now this new pump. Do you have a name for your Ping?

Thanks for the welcome! I will try not to push too hard. I just got the 'Think Like A Pancreas' book. I'm excited to read it and learn more. I also have my first endo appointment tomorrow. :)

June 8 - 12. have you already planned to be there a particular day? I would want to be there whenever Manny's going to be there. and DonnaH. I wonder if TuDiabetes will have a booth? I'll have to ask. I would def be able to work the booth.

P.S. Our Aggie is no longer entered in sports events, but still loves her walks in the woods. Chaos is indeed doing remarkably well!

How do people manage without dogs? you ask. Beats me! Once upon a time where we lived the landlord wouldn't allow dogs, so we had cats, birds, lizards, and little snakes. Not nearly as much fun as dogs!

Wish our dogs wouldn't get older, though... Sounds like Chaos is still enjoying life (as is our 11 year old Aggie), so that in itself is a wish come true. I showed Hardy your comment and he says, Thanks! My best to all.
