Thx for the nice info on your page. I have type 2 diabetes. I am looking for ideas to reduce insulin resistance. Unfortunately, metformin does not suit me. I am on low carb diet as recommended by Dr. Bernstein. Any thoughts on reducing insulin resistance? Thx chirawa

drug companies supply glcometers but only recently with lots of struggle strips & lancets are prescribed in my institute.
we concentrate on education and awareness .

According to these tried and true ppl around here I don't know what I'm talking about, that is the ones here at home I'm talking about! HA! The one nondiabetic here in the family!!!!! The others think I do know!

What do you suggest for a type 2 diabetic to do when I work the night shift? I will start a new job Feb 1 and work from 5pm to 6am. How do I manage my medication now? I take 10 cc byetta twice a day and 1000 mg metformin twice a day and 1 tab lexapro
