Hi Sue,
I just added you as a friend...seems we have a bit in common (guess we all do on this site, huh?), but like you i've been a type 1 for lots of years...for me it's nearly 45, but like you I have minimal complications and, like you I'm trying to shed those extra pounds. Seems almost hopeless some days.
Anyway, I'm really interested in your kitbags, but your website isn't working so, in case you weren't aware of it, i wanted you to know. Hope everything is okay. Let me hear from you!!
I am part of the Welcome Committee and was just checking in on you to make sure you are aware of all that TuDiabetes has to offer. We would love to hear from you so click on About Us and please read the New Member Guide where you can read about all the things you can do in the community.
I look forward to hearing from you again soon.
HI Roshan, thanks for the comments. You do the same as I do -- roll-up for day-today pump gear, and a Classic for back up. You're the first person I know to use the kitbags as a flirting accessory as well as a lifestyle accessory. Good for you!
Hello everyone -- this is a great site. I've seen many, but not really wanted to take part. Thanks to all of those who have added me as a friend. I live in the UK, and there's nothing like this here! Just so you know, I have designed kitbags for people with diabetes -- we all need to carry all that kit around with us don't we! Finger-pricker this, spare needles that. You know what I mean. take a look at www.thekitbagcompany.com and use tudiabetes01 as the promo code at checkout and you'll get 10% off.
Sue, here is giving you a warm and friendly welcome to TuDiabetes.com. This is a very neat site/blog that we all use to help and support each other. I hope to see you and your participation often. If I can be of any assistance please feel free to ask. Again, welcome aboard!!
here are a few tips on how to make the most of the site. I invite you check out the different groups we have: there's an excellent chance you will find more than a few that you can identify with.
