Hi Pauly, What did you get for Christmas presents this year? It really got cold tonight. This morning it was pretty windy and grey but the sun broke through. I thought that it would calm down and be a nice sunny day, but no, it got freezing cold and more blustery. When I walked out to the car it was black night already at five o'clock. Stopped at the store to buy some gloves. My hands were so cold I couldn't wait. I got Zen a pink necklace, some fish treats and food and I also bought some leggings to wear underneath my clothes. Virginia is funny though, just when you think that winter is here then it gets to be 60 degrees again. I would like some snow.
We had a nice Christmas. I barely got the decorations up in time. We were still putting up the tree on Christmas Eve and I started my shopping that day too! We managed to get everything done and had ham for Christmas dinner. My sister sent it for a present. It was really tasty and it was so huge that I have to freeze some and ate sandwiches for lunch this week.
I got the best slippers ever. Big pink fluffy ones. I can hardly wait to get up in the morning to slip them on and the first thing I do when I get home is run for the slippers.
Zen is sure a nice cat. She never gets in trouble, she didn't even bother the Christmas tree. She is very cuddly and doesn't scratch. She is great, I am surprised that I like her as much as I like dogs.
I do want to get a dog again though.
Any plans for New Year's Eve? I think I am going to be snoozing. Take it easy. Happy New Year. Lots.

Hello Pauly. I cannot win. We said let us go and get a haircut. Day after Christmas no one will be there. Was I ever wrong the place was packed. Someone gave me scratch tickets. I won $40. Dinner was good. Lot of great gifts too much candy my favorite was 3 different size frying pans by Farberware. My old ones were a disgrace, The rain came down in sheets while we were in the barbershop. Making an overnight trip to Gainesville be home late tomorrow. Glad you had a good Christmas and a good dinner with your sister. I put on photos of the church and me squeezed into the pew,. Take good care. Your friend,Reed

Oh my Pauly, I read that you were sick with a cold. I do hope you are feeling better by Christmas. I saw that you were featured too. How nice! How have you been? I went back to work, so I haven't been around for a while trying to get back into the 9 to 5 routine. It is nice to be back, but what a mess. I do hope I can clean things up and get them back to the state they were in when I left, and that was quite messy as it was! How are your BGs? I hope that they are not giving you any trouble while you are sick with the cold.

Good Morning,Paul. I was up at 6. It is 36 degrees here, Cold for Flprida. I covered my plants. Russ was jittery. I think he is thinking how bad his looking and it really isn't. Tom wrapped gifts until midnight. Glad your cold is somewhat better but they do hand in. Drink fluids and keep warm. Hello Pauly, Sorry I am late. Been like a one armed paper hangar. Got the tree. Tom put on the lights. Russ unwrapped the ornaments Tom put them on. Reed did the heavy looking on. We got our three ceramic trees set up. Then we went shopping. Tom will leave 5 in the morning for the Marathon in Jacksonville. So we are going tonight to 5PM Mass. Kathy is in the hospital. Hello Pauly. Three bagger today. MASS Grocery shopping and getting gas $3.57 a gallon. I do not know why but we had no vigil Mass Friday. You could tell tghe Cathedral was half full. Chilly but humid. Odd combination. I will be gone until late Tuesday going to Gainesville. No computer.So do not think I have forgotten you. Doing my cards a few at a time. Thanks for your nice card. I feel so sorry for Marie. A tough and sad jb. I lit a special candle for her today.

GoodMorning,Pauly. Russ had a bad night. His face is a mess. All the bandages caked with blood. Where they cut and out in stitches he is bright red. He sees the surgeon today at 2. Hopefully,they will take out the stitches and a better bandage. I just got a call. My stove will be here in 40 minutes. BG 106. Cloudy. Tomorrow Holy Day of bligation. I will go to the 9AM.
