I'd love to share! I fed the starter and let it sit out 4 hours last night and then put it in the fridge. this morning I'll add more flour and let it rise for 5 hours and then form the loaves. I needed to use my starter and I hate to throw some out when it needs to be fed.
I just saw your post on my wall. Back from October. Thank you for the encouraging words. It is indeed reassuring to see others going through it just like me and succeed in doing so. My next A1C is this Sat. All I can do is hope for the best. -Asma.
Thanks for the birthday wishes (I know, a week late). I've been enormously busy with classes, a new job, and trying to apply to be a graduate teacher in the fall and everything else.
Hi Everyone and Thanks for the invite. I am taking Metformin 850 mg 3 times a day and Glipizide 20 mg 2 times a day as well as 10 units of Novolin in the morning and 7 units at dinner. I also take Novolog on a sliding scale if im above 149. Also for cholestrol i take pravastin and lisinopril for BP. Although my last A1C was 8 it was 9.7 before that so it has improved and my tryglycerides, cholestorol and bp have become alot better, I still struggle with the nightly highs(250+) 2 hours after meals. Any suggestions will be gladly appreciated.

Thank you for the warm welcome. It is good to know that I am not alone. :)
Thanks, my husband is type 2 for the last 7 years and in denial, so assistance is always appreciated.
Hope you are feeling better.

hi sparky how are you doing today? I'm getting ready to work on some sourdough this afternoon. I finally found a recipe that works for me.
