Wow, thank you for the warm welcome! We are still reeling between shock and understanding, panic attacks and relative calm (we have lost a child before, so the fear runs deep). I only seem to be able to absorb information in small bits, so we took the evening "off" and watched a fluffy movie.

Thanks for the links to start with. We meet the diabetes educator tomorrow, so will have more information to digest.

I guess what I need to hear is that it gets better.
