thats good that he supports you....it helps alot 2 have support...i dont really have support i think thats why i get so out of control...my mom jus t annoys me lol!!
Thanx Amber, I like the site already! thanx 4 recommending me! I had an appointment with him on the 14th but i didnt go lol he freaks me out 2.....all of them did lol...i love debbie! hehe....but i have 2 make another appt because its starting 2 get out of hand again....my a1c was 12.8 last time i checked....but it went down from like over 14 so thats progress.....
I don't think you meant to sound like your life was ruined, so much as you were disappointed you couldn't follow through with something you had dreamed about. I only wanted to encourage you press forward even though that door seemed to be shut. If your positive the next step is teaching then certainly pursue that course, however; just be open minded enough if God opens a different door along the way. Sometimes in the course of a lifetime we discover that something entirely different happens. After all, I'm living proof.

thank you amber for the kind words. it's very strange to be starting over again after so many years of marriage. but in some ways it's a kind of relief too. my husband is a controler and it's funny (sad kind of funny) to watch him try to still control me and not be able to. in some ways i think he thought he could leave and still be able to tell me what to do. you may be young but you have wisdom beyond your years.

Welcome, and thank you for sharing your story! I was diagnosed a year before you, and I too have been gradually worsening. I am at a 9.0 and the first few years I did very well. I knew I was heading into bad territory... I think this site has really given me an extra boost.
