Do you find it harder because the pressure and expectations for better control is higher? Or because of something else? I'm curious, because seeing diabetes through other folks eyes is always useful to me.

Sue, do you think it's gotten A LOT easier, despite the continuing annoyances of diabetes?

Are you planning to apply for a 50-year medal from Joslin later in the decade? My endo arranged for a large number of her patients to get the 25-year medal. So I got it around my 35th year anniversary. And it was nice to be together with a load of folks who were 25-year vets of this disease.
