Hello Maureen. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your daughter's Border Collie. What a great picture of her! Our old Aggie has developed Epilepsy, which is aging her (she's 13). The loss of our pet companions is so difficult. My condolences to your daughter, and to you as well. Trudy
Maureen, oh my, with our frigid weather, it's hard for me to imagine your heat! I hope you get a break soon. Yay, tennis! As for the tablet to make me better making me feel worse in the meantime, that's exactly the situation. Reading some on my Kindle, waiting for time to pass...
Hi Maureen, thanks for your comment. I am definitely taking it one day at a time; right now I don't feel too well. My antibiotic, Doxycycline, keeps me off-balance, but I'll be through with it in 5 days and then should feel a lot better. Here in my area, we're having snow and frigid weather; I understand Australia is hot! I hope you and Renae are staying comfortable. Trudy

Thank you so much for your donation to Raise Your Hand, the first-ever online auction for Diabetes Hands Foundation!
The auction has been rescheduled for February 2014. Once it closes we will let you know who the highest bidder was for the item(s) you contributed. It would be a great help to us if you can send the item(s) to the winner directly.
Please send a photo, description and approximate value of the item(s) you would like to contribute to DHFauction@pobox.com. The more detail, the better, as we want to do full justice to every donation on the auction site.
Please let your friends and family know about your contribution(s) to this fundraiser so they have the opportunity to participate as well. Again, thanks so much for your support, and for being part of our wonderful community!
Hi Maureen. Here where I live, it will be a Snow Day rather than Boxing Day! Guess we'll get five inches, so we'll hunker down with our Christmas presents: Paperwhite Kindles, actual hand held books, and DVD's. When the dogs go out to romp in the snow this evening, I'll towel them off and call it their winters' bath!
