Oh Jennifer...
God bless you that must have been so hard I dont think I would have coped that shows the bond between a mother and her children I pray that good things come your way for both your self and your children.
I dont know why they make it so expensive I think its to pay for all the equipment and stuff like that or even to give something back into the charity I guess, they are doing the best they can I guess.
Oh the same goes for you, life is hard and without a little bit of friendship and support it would be harder.Thank you

Oh I am sure they never blamed you I mean how could they esp knowing you have it and how hard it is that you would never wish it on anyone else let alone your beloved children.
I know stress does not help with anything I always used to worry and now I am like whatever is ment to be will be just make the most of my life at this moment.
At least you all got each other and understand how hard it is so look at that way,4 others its not your fault that you have them and I dont think they would worry about it as such maybe do somethings to stop themselves from getting them and even be there for you and support you as well because it must be hard on you.
I wish we had something like a diabetes camp honestly over here they think a lot more about funding rather then helping people so its very hard to meet other diabetics,I just met others after 23years of being a diabetic on a course that was for 5 mondays.
I hope everything is good.xxxxxxxxx

hi there Jennifer, I saw what you wrote on osob's page, and I want to welcome you here. I've been loving TuDiabetes for the past two years. If you want to know who started it, read my little blog here about my personal hero and founder of TuDiabetes, Manny Hernandez.

No worries about welcoming you its something so small esp with everything we have to deal with on a daily basis.I dont blame you for feeling like crying I have cried on an occasion and if it helps have a good cry I say anything that gets you through yell, scream, cry, moan or even have a good old rant.Your children are so lucky to have someone that can help them through,I always thought of mothers of diabetics as Angels I know my mum is one have gone through so much with me but a diabetic with diabetic children you have my full support and encouragement.
I have been type1 for 23years got diagnosed at the age of 2 years old and still fighting the good fight please feel free to get in touch if you need any help that I can give.

Welcome Home Jennifer....fellow Ontarian!

I am happy that you are reading this and that you are a member of the growing TuDiabetes family.

Since the community was formed back in early 2007, lots of things have changed. Also since then, lots of new members have joined: we're now nearly 11,300 members. So, new members and new features means it never hurts to refresh how things work around the community.

If you haven't read it, I invite you to take a few minutes to go through our New Member Guide. If you have been a member for a while but have let a little dust accumulate on your TuDiabetes account, you will find it very useful. If you joined just recently, you will find it EVEN MORE handy.

If you don't find answers to a question you may have, never hesitate to ask. Click on the Contact Us link at the bottom of any page and one of the members of our Admin team (you can see their faces on the bottom right side of any page) will get back to you shortly.
