Hello Marie. I had to fast up early to go to Flagler to have blood drawn for the new doctor. Thursday a good day to go no one there. Did the birthdays and Welcomes decided to sit on the red couch to read the paper.....just woke up...sleeping sitting up. A sure sign of being old. The weathermen are nuts keep saying Rain..not a drop. Russ has to keep watering our new tree. Kinda in a blue funk today. My BG 104. Did you have a good night? I hope so. Long range planning a friend going away for a week in June. I am taking care of her dog a Havanese cute little thing. Did you have a low? Hope Ed is doing well. Give him my best. I cannot believe I slept 2 hours. Take good care. HUGS,Reed

Marie - I lost nearly all the lateral peripheral vision in my left eye 10 years ago with the retinopathy. That is why I no longer drive. My central vision is good, and I could pass the driver's test, but if I were to get in an accident and my health records summoned, I'd be in big trouble.
I'm quite sure that if I lived in a small town I'd still be driving. I miss it a lot.

NEVER miss a drop. He said 4 months than he said your annua; diabetic exam due so let's do both in Sept. I also was given a field of vision test. Which he said was very good. I swear this long keyboard or is it too wide but it seems all the letters as I learned them have moved over 1 key. If my pressure does not g down he will change the medication. Have a great night. It must be pretty looking at the lake Tom's condo is on Lake Bivens completly dry. I just heard this the driest it has been in Florida in 91 years. HUGS,Reed

Marie-We just loved the Bonefish Grille. I had grouper( which I loved in Aruba last year). Jim had the orange roughey. And our friends had swordfish and something called wolf fish. It was good, I had a small taste. I even splurged and had a glass of white sangria and dessert.A macadamia choc. brownie with whipped cream. I planned ahead with my insulin ( took a little more than usual) so my BG didn't go too high. Went to bed with 159 and this AM it was 97. Not too bad !
After all you only have one b-day a year. Hope you are feeling better.
Yesterday the temp. hit 93 here, too hot for me. Today is 78, much better. Cat

WELCOME TO SEAGATE NURSING HOME NURSE ON DUTY REED. Russ has more aches and pains. He cannot seem to stand anything. Worriied about BP why it is up and down. They told him if top number is over 100 take a pill if under do not. He is wondering why it does not stay normal. My NG better 116 as the KFC works out. Did you have a good night? Did you run low or just right? In doing the Birthdays some people create funny names for themselves. Is GUILD today? How is Ed doing? Any leads? I feel so sorry for him wish something would come alone soon. You still mking those little items for sale. A hobby like that helps. Just do not give in to things know it is tough but you will win you will see. HUGS,POPS

Yes Marie, intermittent snow. Driving me crazy. I took some trash to the dumpster and the wind was fierce. Some dude is coming over to install a new modem for my condo. It was sort of cool because the company emailed us all of pic of him for security reasons. He is supposed to come between 9-11 and I hope he's on time. So many computer problems. I truly believe my mess started when I switched to Firefox a my browser. Big mess. I now have 5 button bars all stacked at the top of the screen with strange icons.
I finally got my windows done. My clinic has these venders that come in quarterly selling all sorts of trinkets - cheap jewelry, purses, scarves, etc. I bought 4 pashminas for $6 each and Trevor and I draped them yesterday. I love the way they look and certainly would have pent more than $24 had I purchased fabric.

Good Morning,Marie. Things are looking up. Russ's 4 last BG readings normal. I had my KFC day 2 legs mac and cheese cole slaw potato wedges biscuits and, now, the give a free cake. I thought my BG would be over the moon. BG 153. Thank God I only do this once a year. Tom did the Readings last week. He just assumed that was it for April. When he got home he discovered he was supposed to do them yesterday. He is so upset. Honest mistake. I am doing laundry. Just taking it easy. Sevretary OUT again so I have to type up last week's minutes. How are things with you? Did you have a good night? High or low? Give my best to Ed. Tell him I gave St. Patrick a good talking to. Have a good day. HUGS,POPS

Hey Sweet Marie - thanks for the comment re my blog post.
I went to YouTube and typed in Blue Skies and my choices were Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, Frank Sinatra, Willie Nelson, and Eva. I had never heard of Eva but liked her version and now have ordered a couple of her discs from the library. Need to keep exposing myself to new artists.

Marie- I am sure you will figure out the new computer. Ours is a HP too. Actually a Compac. It is about 5 years old and has Windows XP. Still does enough for us non-techies. We had it cleared out last year by a "computer geek" who put all the stuff we wanted saved on a disc and got rid of the rest of the junk. This weekend should be beautiful and Monday will be in the mid 80's. Too soon for that. Hope you are feeling well and BG are in a good range. My AM BG was 130. Have a great weekend. Cat
