Hello Marie. Not feeling too well today. It is my knees. I suppose I will have to have those injections again. Something strange happened today. I was shopping with Tom in PUBLIX. Doing ok when all of a suden my left leg locked and I could not walk.I just stood there not daring to move. I moved my leg backwards a few times and was able to walk enoigh to get to the casher and get to the car. This has never happened to me before. I hope I can make church in the morning. About $AM there was a gust of wind like a twister and did it ever rain. How are things with you? Your readings good? I hope so. Mine was 98. I am just going to rest today elevate my leg. Give my best to Ed. Hugs,Reed
Morning Marie!! Well....here I am with ONE week left to school (not counting the mandatory first aide course the week after that, on the 27/28th). Of course, it's madness at school as we wind down and come to a close. As it is with all clubs/groups. Yesterday was the school's annual Father's Day Breakfast, followed by a canoe trek for dads, some staff (not I!!), and students in grades 4 to 8. This meant
that we teachers/staff had to be at the school at 7 am to prep. for a full fare breakfast! We had our breakfast before the event
started at 8! It was a long day in spite of less students/classes. After my day at school...helped our daughter shop for furniture
etc for her new place. Rush rush rush!! Dinner on the run! This is the weekend my daughter is moving into an apartment...
which means WE ARE/I AM looking after her little guy during the move. Our son, his wife and their two little ones will not be
moving to their house 'till mid July!! As well....Len will be picking up Stephen (daughter's little sprout) daily to bring him here
to be babysat by our d-i-l....and in July and on, driving him to our son/daughter-in-law's new place! Len should start a chauffeur
business, as in driving folks to appointments etc....I'm SURE there's a need there! In the midst of all this, there's nothing but
arguments, one-upmanship and nasty words between our daughter and son/d-i-l, and I am SO SICK OF IT....that I went as far
as to say to our son..."makes me wonder why we had any children". There's not much worse than being caught between 2
feuding loved ones.
So...I'm tapping away sucking back a cuppa while the 3 little ones are watching something with grandpa...I'm still in jammies,
and looking forward to a shower before I head for the front!
Have a SUPERB weekend1 Any plans?? Luv......linda ♥

Morning,Marie. Bright sunny morning here. I enjoyed your photos. It must have been a thrill meeting everyone and Manny. It is a 2 doctor day here today. Russ to check his COUMADAN and me to the shrink. She should pay me as I am always upbeat and happy. I only go to get my sleeping aids. My BG 98. Pleased with that. I just heard on tv if you do not get 6 hours of sleep a night you are at risk for a stroke. Did you have a good night? Your BG? Was Donna great? She is such a good friebnd to me too. Give my very best to Ed. Tell him not to give up. I am wearing out my rosart beads. Take care abnd have a good day. HUGS,POPS
Hi Marie, I am glad you had a good time and that you got to meet some of our friends from Tu. Some day they will get some place that is close enough for me to get to and meet a bunch of you crazy people.
Where the hell did this month off crap come from. No one ever asked me about it...lol.
Hi Marie- I just looked at your pics. They are really great. I am exhausted today. That happens to me when I do a lot one day. The meet up was terrific. It was so nice to especially meet you. The 3 type-3 husband were very patient while we met our friends. Jim said he and Ed had a nice chat. I hope you got home without any problem. Pup put up some pics too. They are great. Hope you have a good day. Think I'll go lay down. Cat
Hello Marie. Missed you. I tried to keep on top of everything. We still have Emma. The owner coming this afternoon. Very cute no problem no barking. Weather terrible. Pouring rain. Flooding hail. We are in a typical Florida pattern a one hour shower every afternoon. Right now bright and sunny and 82. Russ not good today..leg paining ankle swollen he cannt walk. In bed. I just put ice on it. Supposed to have blood drawn today but he could not drive. Tomorrow. From a few folks I heard it was a great time. Was Philly hot? How did you find yur Mother? In good spirits? Very quiet weekend. Sat got the car serviced went shopping Sunday church and in the afternoon watched Tom weed. BG 104. My best to Ed. HUGS,Reed
Evening Marie.....YES!!! No more report cards...no more parent teacher interviews!!! I'm almost there...reaching for the golden ring! It was a hectic 2 days of talking to parents. Most are great...but you always get couple of bad apples in the bunch or a couple of weirdos that shed light on why Susie behaves the way she does!
This weekend will be sheer bliss...nothing hanging over my head (for now)...sleeping in tomorrow for sure! My youngest grandson is spending the weekend with his dad, so I'll be able to spend some time on tu. without having to share my office/nursery. So here I am....sucking back a nice Riesling and enjoying the moment. Man....does it feel good. But this doesn't even BEGIN to compare to how it feels on the first day... nay, the first MORNING of Summer break! :D luv y'all....linda
hey thanks! I'm learning a bunch of new recipes at the moment. I'm transition from vegetarian to vegan this month, so I'm curious of how my BG will react to it. I'm actually thinking about making my own Cinnamon raisin bread soon if you have any tips that'd help me out alot!
