Hey....morning Marie! It's all fine now. It all happened as I left the chat yesterday, or while I was away from it....as I was on before. But I know that the video sound track was all squeaky and jittery, and the video itself would come on and off. So perhaps connected to that...I don't know. At any rate, when I came back to the chat, perhaps an hour or 2 later, the bar in green that normally reads "Members Online", only showed "Disconnected". Had I known then that all I had to do was click on the bar....I would have, but when I went over it with my mouse, the pointing arrow never showed....so silly me did not click! I refreshed, rebooted, went to settings, tried to check through other ways...Nada! Then I guess I got a moment of wisdom....maybe my IQ suddenly jumped a few points due to a sun flare or whatever....I went in and clicked on the bar that read "Disconnected".....and there was light!!! SHEESH!!! I even thought....oh no...no chat....I PERSONALLY suddenly felt disconnected!! There....if that's not an add for promoting the chat, I don't know what is lol!!
Thanks for checking on me again Marie...the caring person that you are ♥
Hope you are well. I'm going back to school Monday. Lord knows I dontwanna!! Think we might have Mason over for a sleep over today. Little peanut. Also need to go out today to buy little thank you cards for the children who got me something. Technically, I guess I should get a little card for ALL my students, not to make any of them feel left out,
with a message in the other cards in the line of...thank you for being such a nice student or whatever...but gets costly....I have over 85 students. Also have to get groceries today....the Christmas holiday stock is depleted, and I'm getting sick of the casserole I made with the left over turkey. Think I'll freeze the rest!!
It's a bright and sunny day here...50F. Simply glorious!! If I were the skier I used to be, I would be on the slopes right now!! Have an AWESOME day....
luv and baskets of hugs,

I sure do hope they finish it this morning and I hope he does not come out looking like Wallace Berry. My BG 104. I hope you had a nice night and your Readings were good/ O saw it is 8 degrees in Boston.Did the nuts go ice fishing? I really will be glad when Russ is done I hate getting up at 4 and 5. I will let you know how Russ makes out. Take care. HUGS,Reed
Thinking of you Marie! We had a great Christmas here having our grandson living with us! It was sad to see it end! Jon was sick most the time during the holidays. Today he was back to work. Alex goes back to school next week. He will be having testing done. I know he hasn't been doing good in several subjects in school, but found out they haven't been able to give him the one on one instruction that he needs. Its been great being able to relax with the holiday, and will be hard next week getting back into the routine.
Hi Marie. thank you for the very warm welcome. I have not started on insulin yet. The nurse called and said that after reading my blood test results, the reading is not enough to confirm what diabetes I have and IF I even have it. I'm going to the clinic today for further blood tests which then determine how much medication I need. I still don't know if I have type 1 or 2. it's most likely that I am a type 1. :)
Good Morning,Marie. Another one of those nights of coughing. He has Mucinex and a prescription cough syrup but still he coughs. Woke me at 4 but I stayed in bed until 5. My BG 106. How were your Readings and night? I hope good. TOPS today. I bet there will be a lot of gains. It will be a Rap session. House mostly undecorated. Just the live tree left. I hope this coughing does not make them postpone Russ's surgery tomorrow. Tom is coming back tonight to take him and will stay until late Sunday so I better do some menu planning. On the wat home from TOPS I have to stop at drugstore to get some medications. Florida plays in the SUGAR BOWL tonight so we MUST watch that. How is Ed? Give him my best. Take good care. I care. HUGS,Reed
Hi Honey....thanks for the wishes. Hope 2013 is alot better for us all too!! Just spent a few days in hospital....Kidney infection, stones, stomach flap herniated. Feeling better. Wishing you the best and you are in my thoughts often. Take care love ya xo
Good Morning,Marie. I had a good night. Russ's cold seems to be better. Tom is here and caters to him. Right now Tom is at the Gym. I have a pot roast going in my slow cooker. I have only used it 2 times before. The food comes out great so I am going to use it more. BG 110. Did you have a good night? I hope your Readings were good and not all over the place. I doubt we will wait to see the ball drop as tomorrow is a Holy Day of Obligation and we will go to the 9AM Mass. How is Ed give him my best. How much snow did you get? I bet it was pretty around the lake. Happy New year to you and ED. I hope the year 2013 will be a good year for us all. HUGS,POPS
Thanks for the spice link Marie. I am starting to make my own rubs and need a good source for bulk spices. All the various peppers are intriguing. My late wife was a New Mexican cooking aficionado and we used to special order various varieties of chilies and grow them in our garden. Have a wonderful new year!
Marie....no worries! Just buy 2 packages of frozen ready to go pie pastry. I think there's 2 per pack. Use one shell for the top pastry. You'll need 2 packages, as the store bought kind is a smaller pie.
