Thinking of you Marie! We had a great Christmas here having our grandson living with us! It was sad to see it end! Jon was sick most the time during the holidays. Today he was back to work. Alex goes back to school next week. He will be having testing done. I know he hasn't been doing good in several subjects in school, but found out they haven't been able to give him the one on one instruction that he needs. Its been great being able to relax with the holiday, and will be hard next week getting back into the routine.
Hi Marie. thank you for the very warm welcome. I have not started on insulin yet. The nurse called and said that after reading my blood test results, the reading is not enough to confirm what diabetes I have and IF I even have it. I'm going to the clinic today for further blood tests which then determine how much medication I need. I still don't know if I have type 1 or 2. it's most likely that I am a type 1. :)
Good Morning,Marie. Another one of those nights of coughing. He has Mucinex and a prescription cough syrup but still he coughs. Woke me at 4 but I stayed in bed until 5. My BG 106. How were your Readings and night? I hope good. TOPS today. I bet there will be a lot of gains. It will be a Rap session. House mostly undecorated. Just the live tree left. I hope this coughing does not make them postpone Russ's surgery tomorrow. Tom is coming back tonight to take him and will stay until late Sunday so I better do some menu planning. On the wat home from TOPS I have to stop at drugstore to get some medications. Florida plays in the SUGAR BOWL tonight so we MUST watch that. How is Ed? Give him my best. Take good care. I care. HUGS,Reed
Hi Honey....thanks for the wishes. Hope 2013 is alot better for us all too!! Just spent a few days in hospital....Kidney infection, stones, stomach flap herniated. Feeling better. Wondering how I will pay bill and see followup doctors,,,,no insurance at all. Dont qualify for Medi-Cal...nothing. So.....holding on by a thread, but I look at it as a big fat thread!! Wishing you the best and you are in my thoughts often. Take care love ya xo
Good Morning,Marie. I had a good night. Russ's cold seems to be better. Tom is here and caters to him. Right now Tom is at the Gym. I have a pot roast going in my slow cooker. I have only used it 2 times before. The food comes out great so I am going to use it more. BG 110. Did you have a good night? I hope your Readings were good and not all over the place. I doubt we will wait to see the ball drop as tomorrow is a Holy Day of Obligation and we will go to the 9AM Mass. How is Ed give him my best. How much snow did you get? I bet it was pretty around the lake. Happy New year to you and ED. I hope the year 2013 will be a good year for us all. HUGS,POPS
Thanks for the spice link Marie. I am starting to make my own rubs and need a good source for bulk spices. All the various peppers are intriguing. My late wife was a New Mexican cooking aficionado and we used to special order various varieties of chilies and grow them in our garden. Have a wonderful new year!
Marie....no worries! Just buy 2 packages of frozen ready to go pie pastry. I think there's 2 per pack. Use one shell for the top pastry. You'll need 2 packages, as the store bought kind is a smaller pie.
Good Morning,Marie. I was having a wonderful sleep when WHAM thunder and heavy, heavy rain. Tom did not run too miserable. But I was good I gave him his lumberjack breakfast any way. BG 112 high for me candy. I hope you had a good night and your Readings were good. Glad Kathy home. Do not like to hear she has to be on COUMADAN. They changed Russ's nose procedure to Thursday. Then the time. Now it is at 11. He will be so happy to get that over with. Going grocery shopping soon. Tom will be here longer so have to plan my menu. Did you get much snow? Some places did. The visitors who were going to drop in decided not to. Glad I did not plan anything. Give my best to Ed and enjoy the day. HUGS,Reed

So Marie, How was the Anniversary celebration? I hope you had a nice time.
They say you can tell a lot about a person by the friends they keep. Thank you for the friend invite, I'm proud to count you as one.
Thanks Marie for the personalized welcome.. Namaste it is then! :)
