I THINK MAIN PROBLEM WITH PUMP IS THE UNPREDICTABLE ABSORTION SITE AND IN TURN VERY DIFF TO DECIDE WHICH TYPE OF INFUSION SET TO BE USED AND FOR HOW MANY DAYS .PLEASE ANY BODY TO SHARE

NAMASTE I AM 50 YEARS OLD AND HAVING TYPE1 SINCE 30 YEARS
ON PUMP SINCE 6 YEARS AND THIS IS MY 2ND PUMP
STILL LEARNING ABOUT PUMP BUT NOT PREDICTABLE
I THINK PUMP SHOULD IMPROVE IN THE FOLLOWINING WAYS
1)BASAL DELIVERY SHOULD BE AS NEAR TO NORMAL RATE AS POSSIBLE
PRESENT RATE IS 0.05UNIT/MIN(FOR MINIMED 715)
THIS IS BIOPULSE, FOR NEW MINIMED754 IT IS 0.025/MIN COMES TO 20 TIMES INFUSION PER MIN ,THIS WILL REDUCE THE RISK O F HYPO,STILL IT IS LESS THAN NORMAL INDIVIDUAL,
2)NO DELIVERY ALARM STARTS ONLY AFTER NON DELIVERY OF 2.7 UNIT ,THIS WILL INCREASE BS BY 300+
3) SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE SO THAT ABSORPTION AT THE SITE OF INSULIN DELIVERY SHALL BE MORE PREDICTABLE

Good Morning,Marie. I had a so/so night. I got up at 6:30. Chico at the door. Tested BG 102. Did W's and B;s. Watched Supr Bowl first half then watched Downton Abbet from 9 to 19 decided then to check the score but the game was still on. I heard they had a power failure. Ravens won by skin of their teeth. How was your dip?

I decided to go to the TOPS STATE CONVENTION in April. It will be in Punta Gorda, Tom and Russ will go. While I am at the meetings they will poke around. I rented a harbor side time share, Living room 2 bedrooms fully equipped kitchen and a balcony should be fun. How was your night? I hope you did not run low again. Give my best to Ed. Take good care of yourself. Any plans for today? A BIG HUG. POPS

Hi Marie, I am so sorry to hear that you had a death in the family. I know you are already feeling a lot of stress. I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and that I hope you are well, that you BGs are good, and you are not sick with any flu or colds. I hope Ed is doing okay too. Take good care. Good Morning,Marie. My night kind of funny. I seemed to wake every 2 hours but would go right back. The fish market no longer selling swordfish too pricey. Tom wne to Publix. They had it fresh but each piece was 5,6 I guess if you goet a pound the price would floor you. Cold this morning but the fool went running. He came home frozen and Reed had to give him his Lumberjack breakfast. My BG 101. Soon we will go grocery shopping. Then to Island Family Pharmacy for my insulin and needles. Tonight we watch Florida play Ole Miss. Is it cold there? I guess we will not be having anymore 80's for a while. Did you have a good night? Give my very best to Ed. I will light candles tomorrow and I will remember your ubcle. Take good care. I care. HUGS,Reed

Man...the weather has been so unpredictable here! Yesterday, we had rain, wind, fog and around 55F...snow pretty much gone. Today...a whole different story...20F...cold and blowing dry snow. I keep hoping for a snow day!!
Here's a good one!! I discovered indirectly that come retirement...there is no dental insurance!! So will have to look for private coverage...another premium to pay!
What the heck is THAT all about?!! Geez...if there was ever a time when you DO need coverage, it's THEN, when your income is lesser. Sigh!!
My report cards are done and were handed in over a week before due date.
I feel....FREE!! Almost euphoric!!
I just hope than there wont be any changes to be made after they get proofread. Soon enough will be parent teacher interviews...and at end of February, prepping for the French club at school. Yesterday I was on the computer after I came back from co-teaching a RCIC class at church (Right of Christian Initiation for Children)...almost to midnight, here at Tu., for a bit...then looking for teaching material related to Groundhog Day....in French! Found some!! Gotta love the internet!! Gotta love my printer! I print one copy....and use it as my master to print the rest at school. There's a lice infestation at school....I'm keeping my distance from any kid scratching their heads. I went to pick Mason up early from school (I was working only till 2pm today). Mason wasn't feeling well...poor little peanut, burning up with fever and feeling SO miserable! So he's not going to school tomorrow, that's for sure! We're getting Stephen for the weekend. He's 2 1/2 now!! He's a little sweetie! Looking forward to it. Should be having Riley over soon, to keep everything fair. Well...tomorrow Friday!! I've been able to get a lot done at school, as all the grades 3, 4 and 5 are away for their 3 day Winter camp. Got lessons planned ahead, copies made, sorted out material and cleaned up supplies in my classroom!! In all my 11 years at the school, I have NEVER EVER found myself short of things to do!! Which is the way I like it....hate standing around!
So....have a great day tomorrow. A brand new (and short) month! I'm praying for a snow day at this end for tomorrow ;)
luv and baskets of hugs....linda

Good Morning,Marie. I am too old for this world. IT WAS TIME FOR us to renew our Homeowners Insurance policy. Due to Florida being a hurricane state it went up $831. Then they sent me all these documents by email and to sign electronically. I was clicking here clicking there making copies. I guess a paperless society. I hope I did it right. Strange they are telling us we are going to break the record for heat the next 2 days. I had a good night. BG102 or was it 106. Hope you had a good night and good Readings. Was this a Guild day. I hope the roads were clear. TOPS tomorrow another Speaker I hope he shows. Russ went to blood draw he did not fast he should have but the fasting box was not checked so they did all the tests but one. How is Ed today? Give him my best. A BIG HUG. Reed
