Thank you for accepting Richard, I love reading your posts. They make me think that yes, I can make it through this. I got great news about my kidneys, no damage whatsoever. I believe a nurse misinformed me by accident. I am now taking bp meds to keep my kidneys safe. I think it was meant to be because it frightened me into coming back to TU and taking control again. Delighted you are well, you mean a lot to us here.
Heard you were in the hospital and wanted to send positive healing thoughts your way. Many many people are thinking of you & hoping you are on the mend!
Richard, it doesn't really matter if you RSVP or not. usually maybe 8 or 10 people say they are coming, and then scores of them show up. We have been getting 50 and 60 people signed on Friday afternoons when they are on, although not all those people are watching or participating in the chat room. I hope to see you there tomorrow.
Richard, in just a bit now, you will see the chat room moved up higher on the main home page. then, just before the speakers are ready, a large video screen will appear just above the chat room. emily will tell us to refresh our screens just before it starts. I do this by clicking on "HOME" on the top banner. we will all be listening and watching the speakers, and if you have a question, you can type it in the chat room, and emily will relay the question to them. it should be really good, so I hope you make it! anyway, if you dont, later the recoding of it will be available for you to watch..
Dear Richard, With my health it is good too..but last year I found out I was depressed and I went to find help..the psychologist told me I had a diabetes burnout...and it did me good to talk about it, I never talked about my diabetes..cause people in the Netherlands think it is nothing..just injecting insuline and then all is good..only my boyfriend and son knows it sometimes sucks..So I searched the internet and found your book, I was happy to read it...and I like the facts about diabetes in the back of your book..and very interesting about the c-peptide in human and animal insuline. I never heard about that before. But they will probably not do research on that, cause I found very few links about it on the internet..
Anyway..hope you have a lot more healthy years..and hope to keep in touch here. I hope I do have strong genes too.
Hello Richard, thank you for adding me as a friend. I did not know about this website. But glad I found it, there is no such thing in the Netherlands where I live. I just finished reading your book, and I loved it..and it gives me hope for the future. How are you now? Kind regards, Peggy Sue

try to be here for it, I'm sure it's going to be well attended. And if you have any questions you'd like to ask them, let me know.
