Yay, I can always use a friend to fight crime with(this case diabetes lol). I agree I don't and will never be the poster child of diabetes, I like candy to much. Lol.

Hey, I love your name. How true it is with these pancreas. My son has Type I and will "celebrate" his 5 year anniversary on June 22. I think you may like the insulin pump. I find for my son that it is very freeing for him - he can participate in many activities, sports, go to friends and always have his insulin on board. He just has to remember his meter. ANyway, very interesting story of your diagnosis and your life afterwards. Great that you are at grad school. Glad you found this site. Lots of interesting groups and comments on all sorts of pumps that you might find helpful and very informative.
