"Thy Word"

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.

When I feel afraid,
And think Ive lost my way.
Still, youre there right beside me.
Nothing will I fear
As long as you are near;
Please be near me to the end.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.

I will not forget
Your love for me and yet,
My heart forever is wandering.
Jesus by my guide,
And hold me to your side,
And I will love you to the end.

Nothing will I fear
As long as you are near;
Please be near me to the end.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
And a light unto my path.
Youre the light unto my path.

Dear Brunetta....I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing.
Words do not suffice. You and your family are in my heart and in my prayers.
This song comes to mind just now....
"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light onto my path...."
I'll look for it...as it speak loudly, and I think I'm meant to pass it on.
God bless you and keep you.
luv....linda

Brunetta,

You and your family are in my thoughts. I was going to ask how your dad is doing, but found my answer on your comments page. Is that your dad sitting in a comfy chair in one of your pics?

Don't forget to take care of yourself!

LOL, I got cleaned up from the unibomber look for Valentine's day and to celebrate spring, which hopefully will come back "in the air" soon! Pic is playing around w/ settings on my cell phone for fun, I thought it looked sort of like a 1950s country singer?

I was 1 in 1968 BTW!

Brunetta - I certainly will, it sounds like you have faith too which must be a wonderful thing! Both of my sisters are christians, and my mom & dad wanted it ... but I think it evaded them - and me, well .... nothing ceases to amaze me - I look at a flower and think that no man could ever have made that, and I seriously doubt any of my ancestors could ever breathe under water so I offer up my prayers to God, I swear on the bible and mean it and I just hope he continues to foot the bill for my bodyguard. Pumps are like hens teeth in the UK - And I have had mine practically thrown at me ..... so somebody's got friends in highh places eh?? I am a very lucky man.

I smile for England - You smile for the US! We both have perma smiles ...... If baffles the hell out of them!! Anyway -it's easier to smile .... As far as the weather is concerned (the British are experts on tea, cricket and the weather) ... It catches us every year, and this year was no different, we had 5 days warning and come saturday the Uk grinds to a halt - what a surprise. Central heating is on and the Jaguar hasn't moved an inch since the first flakes fell, and i've got enough tea to sink south korea - I am snow proof (If a dodgy pancreas can't kill me then i'm sure a few flakes of snow will have their work cut out).
