Greetings, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jeffrey.....
Best Wishes on your Special Day....and on the next 364 days!
How's it all going? Do you have any questions or comments?
Hi Jeffery, thanks for requesting me as a friend. You are the first one for me on this site. I am slowly getting to grips with the site, but slowly, as I'm not a computer wizz by any manner of means.
I have also been out in my garden the last few days. I want to get as much done as I can before the real heat sets in. Perth generally has very hot summers and I don't handle that too well. More about me as we go along. Hey, and Have a great Brithday Buddy. Jo xxx
Good Sunday Morning,Jeffrey. After a horrific 5 months of temps in the high 90's and humid,we have a morning in the 50's. I hope this finds you and yours doing well. Take good care f yourself and thanks for helping us with the Greetings. Reed, the Seagator
THanks for the compliment re the pix. No, they are not mine, but around and about my neighborhood. I do a lot of walking and always have my camera with me.
Nature provides me with a great depth of healing.
Oh MY goodness! Thank you all so much. What a beautiful surprise to receive such gorgeous welcomes from so many people - I cant even explain!!!! I am feeling the love for sure, and am certainly blessed to have stumbled across you all. I do have a certain motivation (apart from the fact I adore Canadians - even have one in the family), but I think I might need to post on the forum? I'll figure it out! I hope all of you who wrote to me get this message - Perhaps I need to write each one individually? Again - thank you thank you thank you so much for such a warm welcome! x
Nice to meet you, Jeff. I am the Type 2 diabetic and have lost numerous family members way too young due to this disease. Among those who passed was my maternal great-grandmother, grandmother, my mom, and both of her sisters. After having reactive hypoglycemia for many of my adult years... Type 2 diabetes was diagnosed 7 years ago. I was immediately started on Novolog (as needed) and Lantus 2 times daily. Persuaded my doctor to let me try oral medication, just because it was never tried before and I really felt my health was worse in many ways on the shots. He decided to try Janumet (1000 mg 2x daily). I'm blessed right now that it is working so well for me. it's been amazing. I think it's so intriging to see how medication works for some and not for others. Carbs are different for individuals, too. My family history with this disease is not pleasant but I hope to be able to put up a good fight! So far I'm winning! Thanks for being there to welcome me! We are all in this together!
